The white black comment was meant to imply that it seems likely that African Americans get special treatment/liberties from the white dancers for some reason, and that dancers probably tollerate more "stuff" from our African American brothers. There is no racism in any of this. Just observations.

Allow me to recount a little story.
I was working in a little shitty club in central FL when I was 18. As I recall, this was likely my second week dancing. I was still very new.
Anyway, in their disgusting "VIP" they had what was referred to as "bed dances". Now for me, this included standing up on the bed above the guy and gyrating around. I was super uncomfortable with the idea of simlating sex, but I was really cute about it, so I got away with my method for awhile.
So one night, I'm doing one of those godforsaken bed dances and the guy starts jacking off. I tell him politely to stop. He does. He resumes when I turn my back. I ask him again to stop, only more firmly. He does. Then when I turn around, he grabs me down, holds me, humps me really hard and fast and comes in his pants.
I was so outraged I started screaming and I punched him in the face. The owner was French, he came running in and I started screaming at him in French. He yelled at me for hitting the customer. I picked up my money, threw it in his face, and walked out.
This is the incident which made me go to air dancing only.
Moral of the story: It is not ok to jerk off before, during or after a dance. And if she asks you more than once, you may face injury depending on the outrage level.

This is a comment on necessary force not any particular situation. If one is being attacked one can use necessary force as long as there is still a danger from the attack. Once the danger no longer is present one can no longer use force.
That is what the Rodney King trial hinged on. After King was on the ground and handcuffed he was no longer a threat yet he was struck again.

So you're saying that since he had completed sexually assaulting me, I was unjust in my response?
News flash. I was restrained. I was also 18 and about 106lbs and this guy was really big. I'm not just going to take it after someone has completed a sexual attack on me.

He was not commenting on your situation. He was talking about the law on use of reasonable force in self defense.
Example:
A man breaks and enters into your home. He is armed with a knife. At this point he is an assailant. Then you pull out your gun and point at him. He puts the knife on the ground and tells you that he wants to surrender but you still go ahead and shoot him. At this point you are an assailant.
Reading back it seems that meds story led to a comment, and EtP to the unnecessary force point. However this is why the law is also not black or white and does take into account (to some degree) mitigating circumstances.
The cops are trained professionals being paid to take risks and work with people who violate our socially agreed on laws.
A citizen in a traumatic situation may not act as idealistically as cops should. Most of us get that and if asked would not hold her in her situation to the same standard as cops. We might wish it, but if we had to judge it, would judge that if we were in the same situation we would not sit there and wait for our attacker to get back the fuck up and negotiate a truce. We'd keep going until our attacker could not possibly re-assault us.
By the same token, even well trained cops apparently can't always control their emotions, even when there are multiples of them and only one ?attacker? to deal with. So... yea, her response is reasonable and normal as compared with what any of us would do in her shoes (regardless of what the law may suggest is ideal behavior).
I promise not to look down on you if you can laugh at lawyer jokes.- minnow

How would you apply this to mediocrity's situation? I'd say she had plenty of reason to see this guy as a continued threat.
I'm assuming that you're just trying to give general info here but in the context of this thread it sounds like you're criticizing Mediocrity's actions because the guy wasn't physically assaulting her by the time she hit him.
I really hope it's not the latter.

UGH. I had ONE experience like this and never went back to the club. Guy straight up was jacking off when I walked into the room! Needless to say, I didn't perform the dance, and I was INFURIATED when management told me to "deal with it - you're a stripper". There are some things that do indeed come with the territory that aren't so fun. THAT is not one of them.
Mediocrity - HOLY FUCK. The story above is about a "bed dance", in fact. *shudder* I had a REALLY drunk cowboy come in from the NFR, who pulled the same shit with me. I'm not a big girl - only about 5'2 and only about 100lbs at the time. (I've put on a BIT since then...). While I'm definitely not defenseless, the way he grabbed at me was just ... yeah. I had no chance no matter what. LUCKILY, the girl in the room across from me heard me freaking out, ran out of her dance and looked in my room, then ran out into the main room screaming for a bouncer. The guy got the shit kicked out of him.
Good for you for defending yourself girl! Lord knows I wish I'd have been allowed out back to give that mother fucking cowboy a sweet introduction to sharp acrylic nails, spiked six inch heels among other things.![]()
"The mood is important. You can't get a lady with force.
...sweet things alone are not enough. Seduce me with more fire."

I was scared to go near you for 3 hours at home that night you were so pissed, LOL.
Wrong.Example:
A man breaks and enters into your home. He is armed with a knife. At this point he is an assailant. Then you pull out your gun and point at him. He puts the knife on the ground and tells you that he wants to surrender but you still go ahead and shoot him. At this point you are an assailant.
Because when the cops get there, they ask what happened. And since the dead guy on the floor with a six inch hole in his upper torso and half his head missing (home defense = short barreled 12 gauge folks - regular guns sometimes miss) isn't arguing with my story that the knife fell to the floor when I shot him, we're all good.

Again..why are u watching dudes get themselves hard at the club when u are surrounded by beautiful woman? Did it turn you on so much that you must post about it on a public forum? HAHAH sorry had to, you made it too easy!
P.S. Boys, jerking off in public is ILLEGAL, and a stripclub is a public place. If a customer was jerking off before or during one of my dances Id leave with his money, and the bouncers would back me up! Get yourself ready before you come to the club. Jerk it at home, that way you wont prematurely ejaculate in the club at all and save yourself some embarassment!
MEDIO AND MINXX I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU TWO. Clubs that allow this to go on aren't worth working at. I am glad the both of you moved on. Everyone deserves respect in the workplace wether you are a dancer or not, you do have your limits and they should be respected.
I am curious to know if I do get assaulted in a manner that medio and mynxx were, what can be done about it? Making another post in another section about this topic.

Really OP? You disturbed me, you musta been staring mighty hard to notice the hard-on, unless the clubs you visit are real bright. Another thing, you really observe other guys getting dances? To see how good a stripper is?....... This is why I like clubs with rooms.
