    Default Nausea NOT PREGNANT.

Ok, sorry to bother y'all, but I've been CRAZY nauseas. I've taken a pregnancy test at home and a blood test at PP/H. NOT Preggo. But I keep gagging constantly. I've been on the pill (for around 2 years now) and think it's something else. Any thoughts?

A couple friends have suggested an ulcer, but I don't 'think' that's my problem.

I would just go to the doctor.. If it makes your life harder then you should go to the best to solve the problem.

Worst cases.. nerve hook, if it feels like it mostly around your tongue it could be a nerve that got pinched or burned by any means. If its your tummy you might just have a acid burn from a drink or food or med or your inner brused by hitting or falling. It could be in your head.. not the crazy sence, but a bump or something growing.

How long have it been going on?

    Gee... Thanks for the help.

I don't mean to sound ungenerous, but I think that I might know if I was having weird tongue/nerve problems. I mean, I would probably feel (or not feel them, in which case it would be obvious, right?) My tongue might never be the same.

This has been going on for around 6-7 weeks. Last year, I had a similar freak-out time-frame (for around 4-5 mos.), and I was not pregnant then. I've been tested several times. I am bun-in-the-oven-free, but I have a VERY freaked-out piece of man-meat out there.

I've been on the pill for around a year-and-a-half, but with all my constant morning sickness-type behavior... WE MUST DO BETTER.

*I'm just wondering what the (more or less) constant and/or repeated vomiting lowers the rate of b/c to.

Go to a DOCTOR ! It could be so many different things from your throat, esophagus, stomach, heart ( HEART ? Yep. There are shared nerves between the lower third of your esophagus and your heart.) Could be hormonal.

Have you been drinking a lot of coffee and other caffeinated drinks ?

Get checked out. Knowing is always better than not knowing.

Noone on here is a doctor(as far as I know)so they can only give some suggestions from their own knowlegde or experience so I dont think theres need to be like that just because they havent solved your problem. Its nice they made the effort to reply! Just go to the doctors

I have had similar symptoms. I have even had a late period, constant nausea then pangs of it, but not real vomiting.

It sounds like you have alreayd heard go to a dr, but if you need some other thoughts, here goes, as I went to a Dr for mine and they weren't that helpful.

First, yes, throwing up your pill will lower its effectiveness. Watch out for that. I think it takes a couple hours to make sure you aren't throwing up.

Try keeping a food/nausea diary so you can try to figure out what might be triggering it. Some things you would not believe can make it happen. If they switched any of your prescriptions to generic without telling you (pharmacies do that), then you could be having a reaction to something in the ingredients. Supplements, vitamins, even new food allergies (especially gluten) can cause nausea.

Stress can be a huge causative factor of nausea as well. The more stressed you are, the more stomach acid you produce, and the more you want to wretch. Ibruprofen, coffee, juice etc can raise stomach acid.

If you are experiencing ride sided upper abdominal pain as well, you might be having a gallstone. If eating fatty foods triggers this, that could be an indicator.

Like everyone said, its best to see an MD. But, i have no insurance, and if you are in my boat, shelling out 200+ to hear "well, lets see how it goes and tell me if it gets worse" doesnt really do me any good.

If you start having sudden weight loss, pain in the night, or your symptoms get worse, you might have to go see an MD to rule out any kind of more serious problem. Try keeping the journal though, and see what the triggers are. Also, get a water filter or drink spring bottled water (not dasani or aquafina--Fiji or poland springs)==city water is notorious for having everything from low levels of feces and medications in it that can make people sick that are particularly sensitive.

Could be an inner ear problem. That will cause nausea. Could be the onset of type 2 diabetes. Could be a parasitic infection like Gaurdia. Could be a food intolerence, esp. to milk or wheat gluten. Could be chron's disease.

Heck it could be a brain tumor. Nausea is one of those symptoms that really is a first line reaction to something else that is going on, sort of like a fever. If this has been going on for 6-7 weeks you really need to see a doctor.

Go to a doctor immediately. Nausea can be a symptom of something seriously wrong in your stomach. Do you suffer from acid reflux?

A few years back I had that. It was mainly after meals. I got sick of feeling sick and went to my doctor. He suggested I take a fasting glucose tolerance test. It is a good thing I did. It turned out that I am diabetic. GO SEE A DOCTOR NOW!!

I had the same symptoms a couple of months ago and it was due to stress...However, I strongly recommend seeing a doctor...Good Luck!!!
