Smiley Fake Bake help wanted please!!

I live in Australia and buy Fake Bake off the net or the very few salons that stock it here as it is extremely hard to find in AUS..

I'm currently using the original fake bake and i love it but found after a few applications my skin has a slight green tinge? lol i think it's from the green tea in it or something..

i'm curious to try the fake bake extreme tanning gel, has anyone tried it? does it leave a green tinge??
any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    xx

I used to use fake bake religiously but it does go green especially if you go dancing and you sweat =/
Ive never tried the gel so I couldnt tell you but I now use xen dark lotion..its soo much better..doesnt smell of fake tan atall and last longer/less of a orangey green colour like fake bake sometimes can be.

oh k, never heard of that...lol
the thing i like about fake bake is it doesnt come off in patches or look like "snake skin" when it wears off..it just fades to nothing and so easy to apply, never had a streak with it, even on my back.

The best I've ever used are the foaming jergen's kind and then too faced tanning bed in a tube..I don't know what's for sale in australia. But for basic tans, always always exfoliate before application and try to not use any oil based products while you use self tanner.

I swear by Saint Tropez (the mousse not the lotion) and I've yet to anyone look orange or green that has it on. I apply before work and I exfoliate every time before, that way the colour looks fresh.

    Some reviews of xen..

Also the girl in the above youtube video does a review of the fake bake extreme gel
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOTLA...e=channel_page

And to quote her she says '' Ok I'm just going to say it, This is by far..and I use alot of self tanning products, I've always used alot of self tanning products. I am qualified with st tropez with my beauty qualification. And this is the worst fake tan I have ever used, its absoloutly dreadful and I would reccomend that noone buys this basically'

But someone commented that video saying they really like it.. I reckon its just going to be one of those things where you have to learn from your own experience, I have heard good reviews of st tropez also.

yeah i want to stick with fake bake as ive tried pretty much everything else on the market and its all gone horrible on me and fake bake is like a dream...apart from the green lol..i don't mind looking orange.
maybe if i use fake bake then every few days use an orangish tan to maybe hide the green tinge..

i tried the lotion last week as no stores had the mousse, but got the mousse last night. dries faster but found it isnt as dark and goes a bit blotchier?

I think St. Tropez looks orange. It was "THE" self tanner a few years ago, but there's better stuff out now. I hear good things about Xen Tan. When I went to buy it, the sales lady took one look at me and said it wouldn't get me dark enough I have heard the absolute BEST one is Sunlabs Dark Sunsation. Do a search on it here, or google it. People rave about how it gets your Ba lack!

I will vouch for sunlabs sunsation. No streaking, no bad smell, great color-- people at work asked me if I had finally given in and gone tanning when I started using it.

After application and before you shower it off it will look like you have been mudwrestling. It will have a green tint and probably streaks, but leave it overnight and after washing it off the next day you should look fabulous

I also maintain my tan with loreal sublime glow moisturizer. I think that is slightly orangey which might be why I don't get the green tint when using sunlab a lot.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Ok, I've been eyeing a new Clarins product, it's in a jar. What I like about it is, it's tinted, so you can see how good you're applying it. Kinda pricey, tho, $42.00. I have used Jergens, Neutrogena sprays, which I don't care for.

    Ok, now I've just been on beauty/drugstore.com & I want Orgin's Great Pretender! It's tinted, $18.50, & has 4 1/2 star reviews.
