    Default GGC and Hustler Baltimore

Anyone work at either of these clubs lately?

I made good money at Hustler last fall, but the money started to drop off near the holidays and I haven't been back there since. I was still able to bring home $1k on Saturday nights up until November though...so I'm hoping it hasn't taken a total turn for the worst since I've been gone.

I also heard the Gold Club on 40 is good, but again I'm wondering if it's been affected by the economy or whatever, if it's still a top spot...

Any up-to-date info on Baltimore clubs would be appreciated! Thanks...

I'm at GGC, but I've been looking for other places bc this past month hasn't been so good. However, it's different for EVERYONE there. There are some nights where you hear girls complaining that they just made tip out, while other girls appear to be busy all of the time. Also, when I say I haven't been doing well all month, I'm coming from this standpoint: I work only 2 nights/week, so if one night out of the week is crappy, it throws off my whole average. I'm guessing it would be better if I worked more, but I can't bc of another job.

We have to get 5 drinks, which usually isn't hard, and the mngmt is pretty lax, as long as you get 3. Other than that, tipout is only $20 day, $30 M-Th, and $50 F/S, which I don't think is bad at all since you can probably make that on stage.

Most of the girls who "appear" to be doing best have regulars. I put "appear" in quotes, bc I truly don't know how they're doing. I know that some are getting rooms, but who knows how long they have to talk to their regulars before the enter the room. I see many girls just sitting around a lot - yes, they're busy, but if they're making money is another story. So here again, it's hard to estimate the financial situation for you.

There's also the factor of how hard/good of a hustler you are. I see some girls just sitting around (I admit that I've done this when I've gotten discouraged) and not working. Meanwhile other girls are working the floor and might not get LDs right away, but soon enough they will find a customer.

I say come in and try out a few nights. If you don't want to burn any bridges, let the management know upfront that this is what you're doing so that they're not surprised if you up and quit real quickly (not that they would be, but you never know).

Thanks for the info! I know a couple of girls who work or used to work there, and it seemed like a guaranteed money-making place. I just hesitate because I also heard there is a LOT of drama between girls. I had a friend who was pretty much forced to quit and come to Hustler because of problems with another dancer at GGC.

I'm a pretty good hustler, I used to get rooms quite a bit. It's easy to bullshit with the guys and I find that I do okay just being myself. Of course I'm kind of nervous because it's been like 7-8 months since I've danced though.

What is the audition process like at GGC? Do they let you work the same night? Is there anyone in particular to ask for?

    Thanks again

It's one of the most drama-free places I've ever worked at, and for the number of girls, I think it's great. I've seen little cat-fights, but nothing like I've encountered in smaller clubs where someone's nose got broken and fights would break out in the tiny-ass locker room. So many girls were very welcoming when I started, and they've only been nice to me since. Now I, too, have heard about one girl's experience w/drama there, but I can't say I've seen it myself. I'm actually sorta dreading going to Scores (possibly) bc I heard there's drama there, and I'm so used to nice girls @ GGC. Then again, as long as nobody interferes w/my $$$ or belongings, it's no biggie.

If you're good at getting rooms, I want to say that you should be fine, but here again, there are so many factors to take into consideration.

You said you're nervous bc it's been awhile - don't worry! I know, easy for me to say. Whenever I take a break, though, I usually come back even stronger bc it's given me time to gather myself and recharge.

For auditions, basically you go onstage and dance for 1 song. I've only seen 1 person get turned down - she had a buzz cut, I think her hair was pink, and she was covered in tattoos...so I wouldn't worry about not getting hired. I've seen girls get hired the same night. They typically don't care how many girls are working, it seems. Frank is the daytime manager and Randy is nighttime when I'm there. I think Jeff is the owner.

I would call BEFORE you come in to make sure that you have someone available to see you. I just dropped by the 1st time, and I was told to fill out an app and come back. The 2nd time, I had called, and they told me to come in at a certain time. So I came in, and they told me a mngr was in a meeting. grrr. So finally, I scheduled ANOTHER time, and Frank and Jeff watched me...and they end up saying something along the lines of me not even having to get up on stage to audition. ARG!! lol But yeah. Just call first.

Were you thinking about auditioning day or night? Lemme know if you are doing it on a Tues/Thurs the 30th or after, cuz I'll be there! I remember you talking about visiting GGC awhile ago before you decided to go to Hustler.
