Default Tucson enforcement news - Candy Store

The Candy Store in Tucson is pretty well known as an extras club, so it appears that they are getting some new enforcement attention. However, in this case it seems they authorities didn't bother to read the fine print of their own licensing rules....

Even though these were just licensing citations, I think this signals a heightened level of attention for the CS. This is not a club I frequent, but their cheap dances and ultra-high VIP mileage have undoubtedly been on the LE radar for some time. Beware and be safe!

I found that article yesterday when I went on Tucson.com to go to the job classified section.....haha

Did you read my post in Stripping General??? I was one of those unfortunate girls. I also think they (the club) deserve everything they might get in the future.

Even though those citations were thrown out, I am still not going back to work there. I have a feeling this is the first in a series of "investigations" and I don't want to be there for the next.

How I ever made money in that disgusting hell hole as a clean dancer, I'll never know. I put up with alot of crap working there. I thank my lucky stars for the money I made and now I am moving on. I don't belong there and this was the nail in the coffin I needed.

Hi CB, I'm sorry you got caught up in that mess, I thought you were long gone from from Tucson! I didn't read your SG post because I don't think guys are supposed to be in there, and I am a highly disciplined SCJ! I agree that this club is probably about to get all kinds of LE attention, and they asked for it by letting extras get so completely out of hand (literally!)

At least it looks like the citations are being tossed, which is good news. I hope you find something that works out well for you. The Tucson economy is still sucking for jobs, but good luck in your search!

When was the license law put into effect in Tucson?? I've danced there myself and never heard a thing about license requirements.

ETA: Just read the article and saw it's only for nude dancers. CherryBomb I'm glad to see your ticket will be dismissed

I'm not surprised at all that this club is getting LE attention. I am surprised it took so long.

I did read your post but couldn't question why the club didn't ask for your license. I now have my answer; you didn't need a license.

Oh yeah, this will really help them avoid further attention, and it won't matter that it was outside the club....

CB954, I hope you've found a way to get out of this place!

Yeah, I posted about that in SG. Actually they say they are "unsure" to whether it happened inside or outside.

I have a "normal" job now. I'll never step foot in that place again. I am thinking about dancing here and there this winter but not in Tucson.
