My favorite regular, I've known for about 5 years. He's really laid back, not cocky, doesn't expect me to dance, but I still do most of the time. We spend more time time talking and sipping drinks. Also , he's never disrespected me by asking for sex. Although, I know he has a crush on me, I see him as a customer/ friend. I can be myself when I'm around him.
he respects my outside life and doesn't blow up my phone, just lets me know when he's coming in or occasionally will forward a funny joke.

My favorite customer I only see maybe 3 times a year. He's military so he travels a lot. When he comes in he's always dressed nice, he spends a good deal of money (and showers me on the stage. last time it was 200 ones). He tips 20s when I sit with him and will usually also get a few dances, paying double for each one.

But, the biggest reason he's my favorite is because he reads the same authors as me, watches the same tv shows, is into the same music, etc. I can have conversations with him about things I actually care about. That tends to be incredibly rare for me in the club. Most of the time if I were to bring those things up, the customer would have no idea. I can have the dj play anything I want when he's there because they know I'll make money. So that means I get to dance to what I -really- like. He's also super respectful, funny, and all around just enjoyable to talk to. He has great stories too.

Damn it, now I wish he'd get back here already. When he's there it's like how I used to pray/imagine/etc my dancing experience would be. You know, someone is really into you for who you are, spends lots of money, has a lot of fun. No head-games, no fake-relationship, no asking for things I can't/won't do. Just focusing on our time in the club and making the best of it.

I love it when my customers are gentlemen. In every sense.
I actually really enjoy a customers company (for real!!) when he behaves like one.
This is a gentleman to me:
    • He doesn't try to touch me too much, or try touch my breasts or ass or whatever.
    • He doesn't complain about how much something is.
    • He can carry a conversation. (this is hard for some people)
    • He cares about what he's wearing and practiced good hygeine before coming in the club. He doesn't smell stale or doused with cologne.
I think a man who does these things is confident and comfortable with himself. When I have an awesome time with a customer, I naturally give the best of me. This equals better quality in my dances

also, my favorite regular would think of me outside the club and buy me a present. If you want to really want to please me, bring me a bottle of my favorite perfume, a piece of jewelry you think would look great on me, a framed piece of art ( I love the moon ), or something.

Reading this I can now see what I would never consider doing is working well for some PLs. I can see why they are a dancer's dream in a part of their life.

Different strokes for different folks dude. It's all good.

I'd still like to hear what makes your favourite dancer your favourite. We can speak frankly here. We are all adults.

My favorite ATF will have to do following:

    - Light up like an electric bulb as soon as I enter the club
    - Greet me in an excited manner as if the spring has arrived
    - Find a nice comfortable couch for me
    - Sit down in front of me and take my shoes and socks off
    - Get me a nice Scotch on the rock
    - Then sit next to me and talk to me forever

My faves have run the gamut in appearances and cultures, but the one thing they all had in common was their ability to "click" with me intellectually and emotionally - we "got" each other, so to speak.

The fact that they were all smokin' hot didn't hurt either

Damn I did not think about that. Man, this strip club business is tougher than it appears on the surface.

Never went often enough to have a "favorite" but the majority of those I bought dances from were my favorite for that evening

To kind of merge common thread topics, if you meet someone you are this simpatico with, why WOULDN'T you want to bring them into your outside life? Either as a friend or a boyfriend, whatever fits. Is the money more important than a possible really good friend if you get along this well?

This question really isn't limited to you, Penny, but your story made me ask it.

^^It can be really stressful to let someone into your life that sees you as a dancer. Most guys have unreasonable expectations of perfection. They want the dancer, not the real girl that has flaws and foibles. It's easy to be "perfect" at work because it is a limited amount of time, but maintaining the facade for a real relationship would be exhausting.

For example, I just had a meltdown over some insecurities... completely ridiculous, but well, I'm human and sometimes I am ridiculous. Any of my ex-regs who claimed to be completely in love with me would have balked. Same when I had two black eyes (from wrestling with my boys, I'm not being abused) a few months ago, or when I had a few breakouts here recently. I realize a few guys are ok with this reality, but many are not and playing the guessing game of will he or won't he be a dickwad can be insanely stressful.

Also, every ex-reg of mine has seemed like a decent guy that I have genuinely enjoyed the company of, but if I converted all those to real-life friendships and gave up that income...Goodbye livelihood.

A few other realities: Many of our regs really wouldn't want a friendship, it would be a romantic relationship or nothing at all...still others only want to pay for our company and wouldn't want ANY relationship, they enjoy the "perfection" of the paid for time. Many SC'ers also seem to have a tendency toward stalking, so there is the safety issue. And don't forget the joy of leaving the stresses of work at work, bringing someone from work into your everyday life throws that out the window.

I'm guessing the potential cut in pay is a significant barrier, and the dancer will be reluctant to upset that apple cart...unless she is truly swept off her feet.

Oopsie, forgot to answer the original question.

All my fav regs over the years have been polite and not super grabby, didn't try to hard to date me and above all else, made me laugh. Also, they were all understanding that I was at work and not jealous when I interacted with other customers. (I absolutely HATE the possesive type that freaks if they see you giving a dance to another guy!)

Well if she is visible to me, (yall know the prerequisites) I usually fall for tomboys who clean up nicely. ITC or OTC I fall for the same girls and ignore the rest.

My current stripper favorite has the prettiest kitty I've ever seen and is a tomboy sweetheart. She's an odd bird and has a down to earthiness that appeals to me. Like I said, I'd be attracted to her outside the club. I've seen her in her street cloths and she is adorable. Although probably too young for me (22)

This just astounds me. These men must have lost all touch with reality; do they seriously have no concept of how you make money?

I have wondered this myself. It's not even super rare. I've seen a few have to be escorted out of the club for going nutso and acting like they just caught their gf cheating or something. I was always super careful about cultivating regulars because of a few early experience with this type of customer. They are the scary ones that wait down the road in their car for you to leave and try to follow you home.

In recalling my past favs, the following seem to be common among them:
    • Remembers me and details about me or things we've talked about previously. As obvious as that sounds, I think that's generally how reg-ATF business starts.
    • Greets me with a smile and seems happy to see me. The positive vibe sets the tone for a good evening.
    • Can hold a conversation about anything. From the serious to the ridiculous, when I come across a dancer with whom I can have conversations that flow effortlessly, I find the idea of spending our time talking and just chilling out much more appealing than the dances themselves. Dancing becomes optional.
    • Is comfortable being herself around me. Names and personal details aren't important. Wherever she sets her personal boundaries is fine by me. But a girl who can drop her ITC stripper persona and be genuine and sincere scores major points with me.
    • Is comfortable and confident enough to share me. By that I mean there's never any unreasonable expectations to be exclusively her regular. Nor are there any obligations to see her should our "in-club schedules" not be compatible on a particular visit. We both would understand there's always next time.
    • Has never tried to cultivate me as a regular by asking for my number or email or offering her own. A lot of girls have seen all business from me cease as a result of this. Just like keeping my work life and personal life separate is important to me, keeping my ITC and OTC life separate is important as well. I fear the exchanging of contact info potentially could lead to unreasonable expectations from both parties which would then negatively affect the ITC experience. Maintaining this rule has kept me out of trouble.
    • Always seems to be genuinely appreciative of my business and tips. I don't kid myself, I know I'm nothing more than a drop in the bucket for her. But the value in taking the time to just say a simple "thank you" before running off is enormous.
    • Likes to sit and enjoy each others' company. It could be prior to getting dances, it could be post dances. It could be much later in the night after already having gone for dances with the understanding I'm not in the market for more that night. This isn't a gesture that's necessary for me but it is appreciated. I should say that I try to be quite conscious about avoiding being a time waster and will often make mention that I shouldn't take up any more of her time from other potential business that could be had if I think she's spending too much time with me or if I know there's another customer waiting on her.

I'm sure there's other criteria that make up my favs but this is all I have at the moment. So hb, you haven't shared what makes your favorite your favorite yet...
