    Default poles at home

i am sure this question has been asked time and time again but i am too lazy to search lol. I am considering getting an XPOLE that uses suction so there are no holes in ceiling/floor. Anyone have one of these and are they stable? Or should I go with a lil mynx that you must bolt into your beams and floor?

Also a very important question. The xpole comes in two sizes 45mm or 50mm. What is the size that most clubs use, 45 mm poles or 50 mm poles?

    TY girls and happy dancin!

my friend has an x pole in her living room and nothing is going to budge that thing- her boyfriend ran into it full pelt while drunk, bounced off it, hit the floor and cracked a rib.........and the pole didn't move! Not sure what size it is though.

damn ok that is sturdy. TY for info. I heard one style that uses suction can crack drywall on your ceiling but it wasnt the xpole and the dumbass probably did not put it under a beam. even though it is suction u should still hae it under a beam for support. ANY info on sizes ladies? Girth and thickness hahaah sorry had to! 45 mm or 50 mm which one do the clubs use?

The standard club size if 50mm. Which, I am pretty sure, is two inches.

I just got an x-pole titanium. It's grip matches the grip of a brass pole that most clubs have. My pole isn't set-up completely straight and is still sturdy as anything. My husband has even been jumping around on it.

It's not suction, it's pressure. The rubber ring just helps stop it slipping.
It will only crack the plasterboard/drywall if it's a) not been put under a joist squarely or b) the drywall was not nailed to the joist hard enough.

When put up correctly, the x pole takes 300Lbs of SIDEWAYS force!

Look out for that LilMinx pole. as it only has one screw in the ceiling, all the sideways forces eventually "tear" the ceiling and the pole will become loose.

ty so much gals! may i ask where you purchased your xpoles? I am trying to avoid anything that will leave holes in my ceiling or floors, as I rent and will for a while now. Dont need to make any damage to any rental property, avoiding that lil mynx for sure! How much did your pole(s) cost with shipping? What site did you use. Direct thru xpole they are not as pricey as I expected. About a year ago I have seen poles going for $500 and more! TY again I cant wait to get one (birthday coming soon and this is the only thing i want)
