You may want to post this up in the "club chat" section for more response.
But since you posted it here...
The Cabaret Lounge was my first-ever regular club and I've been a customer there off and on for about 25 years. They do allow private dances but there is a three foot rule that is very strictly enforced so dances are a hard sell. As far as I know there is no VIP room.
It's a decent club with good managenment but it is mostly stage money. There is a big stage with plenty of seating and the bouncers will actually make guys move away from stage seating if they do not tip! Sorry, I don't have any info about house fees or tip-outs.
lol, I can remember when this club actually had shift pay!
On certain weeknights I believe tipout is only $10, and you just get added to the stage rotation.
Low ceiling, stage is shaped like a cross with a short pole in the middle. A small plexiglass divider, about 6", borders the stage. Strictly no contact. Customers place their tips on the plexiglass for the dancers to come around and pick up.
During night shift they close off a second room for private dances but customers rarely get them due to the 3' rule mentioned above.

Good luck.
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.

Wait is this that Alex's place or another club? The way you describe it, it sounds like Alex's to me, but then again all clubs in MA make you dance 36 yards from your customer.

^^^ Nope. Alex's is in Stoughton south of Boston. Cabaret Lounge is north of Boston up Route 1.

Alex's is a bit looser on the contact front though privacy is still non-existent...
Also, I have not been in to Cabaret for a while but I have been told that the plexiglass around the stage is gone now.
The Cab always struck me as a decent, relatively safe, neighborhood bar type of strip club from a customer's perspective. For a dancer I think there are better options. Years ago there where a lot of clubs north of Boston but the count has dropped considerably over the years. In general, any place in Boston or north of Boston is very strict contact-wise with clubs south and west of town being a bit more liberal.
