u know the strip joint in pomona is good for stage and pretty decent on weekends it is wanna dance crowd and dances are out in the open. I found that I made more money outside Los Angeles than in the center!I lived in Hollywood and it took me 1hour and a half to drive there! But as I stated on weekends it was worth it good luck

Rule out nude clubs for decent stage money... I do have good nights, but the most I've ever made $200 and that was a GOOD night. Lately I don't even really bother with stage dancing-- I'll go up when I have to but avoid it-- because I make soooo much more money working the crowd for dances. Which makes me really sad, because stage dancing is why I wanted to dance and what I love about the job.

I don't think you'll have an issue here with tats and piercings, I have one tat but a ton of piercings, no one has ever cared. There are no upscale clubs here...

For stage I think topless is where you'll make the most money, but I don't know anything about the topless clubs here. Girls that I know working at bikini clubs say they hardly make anything, the guys just come to hang out and drink.

I don't know what an "acceptable" amount of money is to you but you're probably going to have to lower it considerably if you really just want to do stage.

Jumbos Clown Room and Star Garden are stage centered clubs (and very tattoo friendly) . At Jumbos you can probably make up to 300 bucks on a busy weekend night (all stage) but you have to pay your dues and do a ton of slow ass day shifts before you get a good night shift.
Honestly I dont think there really are any clubs in LA where you can make good money on stage :-(
Body Shop can be good stage money sometimes but you might not be able to go on stage all that often

Star Garden is completely stage and it's not hard to get the shifts you want. I will be honest and say that there is not a lot of $$, but I usually make around $200 on a 6 hour shift on a Sunday. (that's the only day I work). The girls are cool, but if they sense you are making $$, they will go out of their way to cock block you. (I think it's kinda funny to watch them try). Not saying all of them, but a select few.

Try Jumbos. It's a very divey place, in a crap part of town but I don't even think they offer lapdances, it's so stage centered. Plus, it's alternative friendly and has a very burlesquey atmosphere. I hear Sat/Fri can be very good. But you gotta be a good dancer to convince them to hire you. When I went in they were very adament on NOT needing new girls and that I had to "dance exceptionally well" to be considered for the job.

    Good luck!

They have been re-opened for awhile now. I believe they re-opened in April, but I may be a little off. Anyways, they've been reopened for a minute now.

They're open but you have to do their amateur night thing on Mondays to get hired or they just stick you on day shift.

The fire happened in December '08.... so you're a bit slow on the uptake. lol.

yeah i had to quit because no money and the girls were super mean, they even made me cry because i assumed the club was one way contact lap dances and it was actually AIR dances (which are impossible to sell!) the security didnt mind but the girls sure did and made me sound like a freaking whore for touching a customers ear, for chrissakes. The girls there are catty, and for them to be catty to ME...i mean...im usually the stripper all the other girls love for no reason at all...its very rare for girls to be mean to me...so yeah just beware of catty girls.

as for body shop..which manager did you talk to? when i went in i just said "i want to work tonight" and charlie asked me if i had worked before, i said yes, and got to work. Did they tell you in person that you had to do amature night?

as for jumbos...did you go in on a dayshift or night shift? i auditioned during the day and wasnt told i had to dance well or that they didnt need dancers, then again this was several months ago

Oh sweetie!. I'm sorry those girls were so mean to you. They are to me too, but I guess I've learned to be very business like and I don't let it bother me. But I like to work there once a week because of the stage time I get. I work at 2 other lap dance oriented clubs to make my 'real $$'.

There are two clubs in the valley that are also more stage oriented: The 2 Candy Cats and Sonny's. I havent' been in a Candy Kat but I worked at Sonny's briefly. Sonny's is very small. I've made some $$ there, but the energy was just not for me. No real reason. Management is cool and the girls are fine. I think it's the custies. Even though they tip, there is an attitude there I can't feel completely comfortable with.

    But those are some suggestions.

I work at Body Shop and the stage doesn't get good until like 1:30am, with so many girls working lately, it is really hard to get more than one chance to dance on stage while it's still busy. But if you're a lil' stage whore like me, then you just keep asking and asking till you get another turn!

One thing misleading about the stage money at Body Shop is that the girls getting tipped alot are up on the rail and touching onto the customers to make their money. If a really beautiful well trained pole dancer goes up after a relatively unskilled but TOUCHY FEELY girl, she might not even get a dollar.

How do I know? Happens to me constantly. I won't go on stage after certain girls or the guys are all expecting me to do stuff to 'em . .. *eye roll*

The Classy Lady re-opened in Van Nuys. It's a topless stage club w/ lap dances. House fee is very low. $$ is hit and miss, but not bad.
