    OMG!!!

    Today the old ball and chain came home from a long day and said to me "you look skinny"

    I am normally 98-100 lbs!!!! I am 5'2 and have always been very petite. BUT after he said that, I went to take a shower, weighed myself and saw that I only weigh 94 lbs! I am in shock!

    I have been under alot of stress lately! I am moving soon and as we all know adult businesses in general have been struggling. I must admit I haven't been eating 3 square meals a day, I usually do not eat breakfast but will eat lunch when I am hungry, dinner, and what I call my midnight snack which is Breakfast. I am a night owl and these nights have always messed up my eating habits: BUT I DO EAT! I have never had any kind of eating disorder. I also do not have a drug problem which can lead to weight loss.

    I have always been naturally thin and I cannot gain weight. The most I have ever been is 104. I am getting nervous that this could be another problem that has nothing to do with my eating habits I am trying to de- stress with yoga and stretching in the mornings, and I have near future plans of getting into a work out routine. I want to tone up and add muscle to my body, and hopefully gain weight due to this.

    I have never tried to gain weight on purpose, but after this I am going to put forth my best effort. I stand 5'2 so I would like to be around 105-107. I want some meat on these bones! How can I gain weight? What is going on with me??

    It's probably that stress you're having. During those times it's easy to almost forget or not really pay attention to how little you're actually eating. Remember your body is your baby, don't neglect it. Even though you're technically "eating", you could still be losing weight if you're not eating properly. If cereal, for example, or a simple sandwich is one of those meals, it's simply not enough for the body. Make sure you're eating an entree with sides for those 3 times a day you sit down and eat. Have you been doing that?
    If you eat plenty, same as always, go to the doctor, it could be an underlying medical problem.

    Stress affects everyone differently. Since it is contributing to your weight loss, find ways to calm down and relax! See your doctor for a checkup and/or get personalized dietary advice (on gaining weight) from a registered dietitian. Strength training can also help increase lean muscle mass and add weight. A certified trainer can help you get started with an appropriate strength-training program.

    Are you healthy other than the weight loss? If you are suffering other seemingly unrelated symptoms, that could range from sinus problems to sleeping problems to muscle soreness, you may want to see a doctor.

    Sudden and rapid weight loss, especially accompanied by stress, could mean you are suffering a hormone imbalance.


    Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

    I went through something similiar about 2 months ago. I got a bad flu, and it was allergy season.... not being able to smell completely destroyed my appetite. I ate, but less than usual, and I just lost some weight. On the scale, it wasn't a very significant amount, but for my body frame it was very noticeable. The weight came back on its own, but I was weirded out because I didn't realize that my lack of sense of smell was what was killing my appetite.

    If the weight loss doesn't cease within a month, go to the doctor and have yourself tested!

    I used to have trouble gaining weight and people thought I "must" have an ED since I was so scrawny. I'm just naturally tiny.

    Anyway, what really helped me was Ensure shakes. I freakin LOVE the chocolate ones. I drank one or two of those a day and really started gaining healthy weight within a month.

    They are in most grocery stores. They have tons of vitamins, and protein. A good meal supplement and/or replacement. They may be perfect to supplement your lack of breakfast.

    Eat more cookies and sweets generelly works for me, that or lots of beef.

    Count up your caloric intake and add 500 calories to it a day. Not junk. Good calories. Salmon, nuts, olive oils, brown rice, avocados, organic eggs. Stuff like that. You'll see a vast improvement within the month.

    I have this problem too. If I don't eat all the damn time, I'll drop like ten pounds without even noticing it. I try to keep some slimfasts around and drink those in addition to my meals. Ensure is supposed to be better for you, but it tastes like chocolate garbage to me. They give it to old people who can't hold down solid foods anymore.

    You could also try doing some weight training to put on muscle. That's really what I should be doing, but I'm lazy. If you think something weird is going on, you should see a doctor.

    I know that I have a hyper thyroid, it runs in my fam. No matter what I not only don't gain, but can def. lose from stress and other factors. It took me years to figure out/get this diagnois from my Dr. I don't take meds cause it's borderline, but I def. need to eat a lot!

    For a certain period of time, back when I was really happy, I would lose too much occasionally. (If I'm happy, I forget to eat.) What always fixed it for me was adding a goodsized handful of nuts and an extra piece of fruit to my diet daily...and of course making sure I didn't skip any meals. Oh, and adding a piece of whole grain bread with dinner will help.

    i have the same problem....i or we need to gain some muscle mass...they say weights work but i havent tried...im a cardio bunny

    Stress combined with irregular sleeping and eating is a surefire way to lose weight especially if you're petite from the start. And it's not always easy to notice that yourself because eyes get used to what you see in a mirror but a photograph might tell a different tale. Watch how your clothes fit you –just realized yesterday that I must have looked scrawny about 9 months ago because then a pair of jeans I have always needed a belt, unlike now. Try to go to sleep at least by midnight and eat a proper dinner in the evening. Pasta, bread, meat... you can tone that later, first get something to mold
