    Default best hair for work?

    Hi.
So...I used ot have long, thick beautiful black hair for a long, long time. I got bored. So i went blond, and with a bob...that worked better money wise, but the hair was incredibly dry and impossible to make look healthy, supple and sexy. So i cut it boy short, and went for a more golden, dirty blond with high lights.
Now this suits me to a T. Makes my features stand out. I think i look sexy and i feel that way too. BUT it seems like the custies are not feeling the same way. I mean I’ve gotten nasty comments, and yes some like it...but these are more mature, travelling men.
Mostly, the majority of guys just don’t seem to like it that much. And looks, first impressions is important! This is their fantasy and to most guys if you’re not fitting in it...there is no convincing with my brilliant personality.
I’m losing money here-Big time. I made more as a brunet and even more as a bob blond.
Now, mostly likely, I’m going to get some extensions-natural, long ones. i still want to stand out and not be like the other girls. I thought to play it safe I’ll stay golden, dirty blond because men like blonds, and most of the girls at my work are brunets.
Then...i thought auburn. I love it and i know this colours suit me pretty well since i sort of had it done before a long time ago. (Before dancing.) and no one has it at work...but would this be too far?
    Also... curly or straight?

Some of those older threads are good reads for this. Just remember that, depending on your club, color can be very difficult to determine in standard-issue club lighting. Can't tell you how many times I couldn't decipher a girl's hair color. What's the worst is "How do you like my new hair color?" Uhhhh . . . It's perfect!

But the girls who understand what's up drag me under the one bright light before asking. Then I'm like, holy crap, you're white???

(haha j/k no hate mail please. It is merely a joke to emphasize that clubs have poor lighting. I'm beginning to understand why dancers post "but that doesn't mean I'd date him" after everything)

I think hair has a lot less to do with how much we make than we tend to think.....

It could be more about how YOU feel in your new hair. We give off vibes even when we don't think we are.......

I dont think thats the case here as she said that she likes the short hair and feels sexy its just customers who don't agree. I deffinatly think alot of men find longer hair sexier in my opinion..

I hate to say it! But short hair isn't for everyone some guys love it and some guys hate it...if they love it you can make alot of money from that one guy, but it is usually a turn off. For what reason, I dont know. Men used to LOVE LOVE LOVE my short hair outside of the club, but in a stripclub for some reason, I had trouble making money with short hair.

I had short hair for a very long time, VERY SHORT! I am very petite and I rocked the short hair!! I grew up in the midwest and that was a trendy style there! Then I moved to Vegas and started growing it out, for a change. When I first started dancing, It was almost chin length but not quite. I hate to say it but I always did better the nights I wore wigs and extensions.

I am not saying that you should change you for work, but you may want to look into some clip ins or wigs. They are easier to pull off with short hair, and it is fun to experiment with different looks anyways! On the other hand, if you are the only girl at your club with short hair, it could end up doing really well for you. Experiment and see what happens, or maybe go for a more punky fohawk style and bondagey look, if you are into that kind of thing. Alot of guys associate short hair with a dominant additude and or lesbians (unfortunately this will make u seem unattainable to them)

If you can do clip in extensions, get them in a light blonde and keep your hair dark blonde but with some high lights, Go straight or wavy, what ever makes it blend better.

I made more when I had long hair. Still kicking myself for that one.

While I've always kept my hair the same color (dark brown) because it suits me and I'm lazy, IME it's best to stand out. For example if there's no red heads at your club, then maybe it's something to consider.
