    Sad Really bad sunburn..

I just came back from a vacation and I have a second degree sunburn.. I guess when I get over this I'm off to the doctor for a stronger sunscreen.. Now I just need to get over this.. Its on my back and arms and I can barely touch my arms to apply anything... I can't even move my shoulders anywhere. I have been applying aloe to where I can but it seems to not be working. Any tips? I really would like to be able to move and sleep again..

It may sound weird, but it does work: plain yogurt. I put it on, rinse off w/cool water before it dries. I found this works even better than aloe vera. If you do use aloe, be sure it does not contain alcohol, or it will burn. Have you taken a over the counter pain reliever? I hope you feel better.

Thank you everyone. I have been taking pain helppers for this they just do very little. I will try out everyone ideas. I hate having to go to the doctor for sunscreen but spf 70 isn't even high enough for me..

Several years ago when I was new to tanning salons I got a really bad burn. I looked freakin purple. Anyhow it was suggested that I try an antiseptic burn spray it was called Foil or Foyle (idk) but it had lidocaine in it and was a tremendous help. Since it was an aerosole I didn't have to be touched applying it!

Alittle.. I was able to lay down for a few hours, and I can move my arms but not my shoulders. So no moving things to the top shelf yet. Or any clothes that put even alittle pressure on them. my lower back is getting better too but can't arch it yet. Its put my dancing on hold for a day or two.
