Default Do You Use Castile Soap????

    Hi everyone,

I just came across a bottle of castile soap. And it seems to be all the rave with the "Green" folks and purists. Has anyone ever used this all natural soap made from olive oil??? And if so, How do you like it? And what are some (or MOST..lol) of its beauty benefits????

    Thank you!

I use the wipes that I get from my gyno's office, on my vagina. The ones I use are made with coconut oil. They smell really good and make me feel fresh.

I love castile soap, it's the only stuff I use on my face. It keeps my skin remarkably balanced, it's super gentle, and super cheap compared to fancy washes. I used to use one with lavender when I was dealing with acne, but I've since switched to the rose one.

All I use is Castille or Black soap. They are wonderful. Try the citrus & peppermint ones after work. And I like the almond one for head to to cleansing. Plus if you think it dries your skin too much, add a little veggie glycerin or jojoba or olive oil to it.

My dad swore by this soap all of his life (hippies) LOL but this is a sulfate free soap and IS a wonderful alternative! This can also be used (although I dont) with a shampoo free (sulfate free) routine, in place of shampoo. It does not strip your skin of its natural oils! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I have been using it for years and years as my daily shower/body wash soap. I love it; it is very gentle but does the job. I use Dr. Bronner's brand.

Great for sensitive skin. Also, it is not heavily perfumed, which is good for me because some fragrances give me a headache.

Some say they wash their hair with it. I tried that once, and it made my hair too "gummy" and sticky. So I can't recommend that.

I have used too much liquid castile and it left a weird film on me. It might have been from my shower running out of hot water.

There is a line called "Nubian" that is AMAZING! It is made from coconut oils and shea. OMG!!!! Love it!!!!!
