    Default Curling hair with rollers-advice?!

I would like to learn how to style my hair in spiral curls, like this

But I don't want to use a curling iron. I'd like to have a style I can do that doesn't cause so much heat damage,so I want to do it with curlers. Can anyone recommend some products? What kind of curlers should I get? What kind of products to help it hold the curl without making it too crunchy?

i'm actually venturing into hot rollers myself, at the moment. i'd say that if you want spiral curls, you should go with a curling iron vs rollers. rollers are really better for creating waves, i've found.

be sure to use a heat protecting curl enhancer and good hairspray, that'll help keep your hair healthy.

If you want to do spirals without heat I'd recommend this.
Same theory as paper bag curls (if you're familiar with those?) only a MUCH better looking result.

You could try this product, its not a hot roller its like a set you put on your hair when its damp then blow dry it to set the curl. I use to have to have curls like that for dance recitals, and I used something like this to get my hair to look like that. Make sure you use some mouse and then maybe a small curling iron to do a couple touch ups on some wispy pieces of hair that won't go in the roller.
