    Default vivid shoes?

I was looking at some stripper shoes...saw some by Vivid that I like. Has anyone danced in Vivid? Are they as durable or as comfortable as Pleasers?

I have three pairs of the Vivid shoes and I like them.

They're as comfortable as any of the other shoes that I have (and I have a lot!). I rotate my shoes often so I've probably only worn them maybe 5 or 6 times each, but they haven't broke yet.

i haven't purchased them due to the high price tag ($70) at my local shop, but i did try them on. They have built in slide pads and feel good!!! i can live with my pleasers though, esp when they are half the price!

Pleasers are the worst shoes for me......the repair costs make end us as expensive as the spendy shoes.

I saw them in a store I was in the other day, but didn't purchase them. I've noticed all of the shoes have been getting cheaper in terms of how they are made these days and I'm starting to look for shoes where the soles are tapered so they don't peel off as quickly. Apparently the Vivid shoes didn't taper or I probably would have bought them.

If i find a pair that I like with shitty soles, I take them to my shoe guy before I dance, it costs me $6 and then I have nice vibram soles that dont go anywhere.

As for durability, when I'm in LA I go to Tony's Shoes on Hollywood Blvd, his last longer than any others for me, and fit my high arch well. Though I have been having good luck with "LUSCIOUS" too.

Luscious shoes are made by Pleaser, but they usually use higher end finishes on that brand then they do the regular Pleaser line. I'm with you on the shoe guy though. I have one down the street from my house. $5 a pair and my shoes last forever. I do it with ALL my work shoes!

What do you guys have them do? I just bought a new pair of shoes and I'd love to invest in something to make them last longer.

I just go into my local shoe repair shop and ask him to put dance rubber on the soles. He adheres a piece of seriously durable rubber on the bottom that's about 1/8" thick. I've never slipped or had the soles come off like those sticky pads do. Also, because you're not tearing up the actual sole of the shoe, they will last a lot longer.
