Default Beauty products you can't do without (and why)

Just decided to start this thread so that we can share all our favorite products, and maybe give each other ideas. There may be another thread like this already, but oh well. I am a total Sephora whore, so at least this will be an exciting thread for me.

    I'll go first:

Wen Cleansing Conditioner in Sweet Almond Mint: I am a die-hard fan of this stuff. It doesn't have any sodium laurel sulfate or other harsh chemicals and detergents that damage your hair. I've been using this regularly for about two months, and my hair has never been better. Every day is literally an amazing hair day. My hair is stronger, healthier, shinier, and has more volume and less flyaways. And since you have to really massage it into your hair and scalp for several minutes, you end up basically giving yourself a scalp massage, which helps with relieving stress and promoting relaxation. Love this stuff!

Le 2 de Guerlain Mascara: This is my favorite mascara, and the only one I've used for years. Depending on the application, I can use this for day or for night. It never clumps, and it lengthens and thickens. I have people thinking I'm wearing false eyelashes.

For me personally, my neutrogena 15 SPF moisturizing facial lotion plus my BareMinerals foundation. In a pinch, as long as I have these two, I feel like I can go out the door looking ok. It covers my facial redness and acne scars, and those are the things I am most concerned about. Also, without the moisturizer, the mineral makeup does not stick to my face AT ALL!!

Also, any brand of plum-colored eye shadow and I feel 100x sexier. It goes with my coloring really well.

Laura Mercier Loose translucent finishing powder: When I'm done putting on all my make up, I use this to make my skin look airbrushed, and blur the imperfections. It is the best finishing powder I have found, and great for touching up shine. It melts into your skin and makes it look perfect.

Baking soda: I always keep a box in my shower. I use it every once in a while to deep cleanse my hair, and I brush my teeth with baking soda + toothpaste every day for whitening. Cheap and effective!

Ponds Cold Cream: Takes off ALL my makeup, cleanses, and leaves my skin soft.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub with salicylic acid: This is great before I spray tan, I use it all over my body.

Pureology Shampoo/Conditioner: Sulfate free, preserves hair color, I've used this for years, I love it.

hmmmmm, I'm sure I'll have more to add....

You can say that again.. not just on here but men in general. Guys are so damn lame, the only way they can halfway make up for it is by opening their wallets.

Wen isn't available at Sephora, it's only on QVC.com. The stuff is really awesome, absolutely worth the money for me.
