Default What's a customer to do?

I have been seeing the same girl for several years. We are good friends at the club and outside the club. I go to see her exclusively, paying generously for her non-dancing time and very rarely asking for dances. We usually talk for hours. I rarely speak with another dancer at her request. Sometimes when she does not want to work, I pay for her day off wether I'm with her or not. Over the last few months when I have infrequently suggested getting dances, my experience is that she finds a way to distract me from getting dances or we go in the room and I get a few uninteresting dances. On my last few visits she was in a bad mood that killed my mood for a good time. I am a very understanding and patient person and I look at our relationship as far more than a club friendship. I always tell her that in the club it is business and out of the club it is friendship. I think it is starting to go the wrong direction. We are all people and have issues and complications but when I go to the club and spend a lot of money, I hope to have good conversation at a minimum. I am not sure if I should back off from the club for a while and let things settle down or what is a good way to deal with this situation. I am also a very good customer and I do not want to hurt her. Please advise. Thanks.

Hrm, that might be what you tell her, but under the circumstances it's difficult to believe that this is a genuine "friendship".

From your "Difficult Question" Thread .....

I think you should follow the advice previously provided in your other threads.

Verf is right. If you are paying her for her time inside the club, outside the club, and even when she is off work but not with you, its like no "genuine" friendship I've heard of. This whole situation seems to me to be a case of you being taken advantage of. The reason she doesn't want you to talk to other dancers is obvious. She wants to keep you ( read: your $$$ ) to herself. I think you nailed it on the head when you titled the thread by using the word "customer".

You're free to enter into whatever kind of friendship or arrangement suits you with anyone you like. I just don't see how you can be her #1 customer and a good friend simultaneously. Pick one or the other and see what happens, but be ready to find out this was all about the money for her.

Sorry but I sincerely doubt that she is seeing things the same way. At the very least she is not viewing the "friendship" in the same way that you do.

you already know the answer. You just don't want to hear it.

Time to move on. As long as you are spending, you won't have any problem having lots of dancer "friends".

What's a customer to do? Stop being her customer. You're being taken advantage of, and you know it. Otherwise, you wouldn't be posting.

Do whatever you want. You can't hurt her, because she doesn't care about you. If you don't like what you're getting for your money, then stop buying or re-negotiate the deal.

Three or four grand a week? $200K a year...for talking? Do you realize how retarded this sounds? You must stop this right now.

I wouldn't speculate you're strictly being taken advantage of, since we're only getting your side of what is clearly a long story.

From a dancer's perspective, regular customers always begin to lose their value at some point. A guy may not even realize his behavior and expectations have changed, but they always do change, and almost never to the dancer's liking. I'm assuming the two of you keep in contact a lot - I'm betting she's getting bored of it. She has possibly let it cross some boundary she isn't exactly comfortable with, so perhaps she's trying to pull back.

I wonder what she would have to say about what you may or may not be doing lately that might be contributing to her mood with you?
