I don't know if its just where I work..I have only worked at this club but girls who have nicer body and implants but not so great faces tend to sell more dances.. I think my face is nicer than my body..Im not very curvy/too skinny and i dont think it works in my favour here atalll

well hustling skills obviously take the cake. However, if a good body or a good face sell more, it really depends on what quality level we are talking about.

I think it is much easier to get away with having an ugly face than an ugly body in this business. A 300 pound hippo with gorgeous eyes will not do as well as a girl with a smoking body and a horse face... its easier to hide bad features with makeup also.

I have a nice face and a nice body (i realize this sentence sounds concieted, but whatever. I like the way i look). I think my eyes make more money than my body does, based solely off of looks. I think that having a nice body might help people watch me more on stage or want a quick LD, but when i do the googly eyes on a customer, it melts him more into spending the big bucks for the VIP roooms than my body does.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

A nice face really helps... but even with a beautiful face (vain much? xD) I still sell more dances when my body is looking nicer.

Yeah that makes sense I guess its like that everywhere? And that didnt sound conceited. I think I have a hott face but my body is avg at best? haha like I think girls who obsess with being skinny compliment me but guys arent into that and im not into it either, its just not very curvy so I dont think I stand out or anything not much I can do to change it though I guess!

I think body trumps face every time. I've seen slightly chubby girls with incredibly gorgeous faces struggle to make tip out while really well built dancers that look like they've been hit in the face with a shovel bank.

Confidence. Confidence, a good hustle, and a great personality not only make you stand out, but they can sell just as many dances as a great body.

The grass is always greener! I'm so damn jealous of thin athletic women and I meet a lot of men who prefer that look. Sometimes I really wish I would have skipped the implants, I had a much leaner look beforehand.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those curvy chicks. Tiny, tiny waist, round ass and implants (as you can tell from my avi). Not fat, I wear a 0-2 depending on brand and such (usually a 0), but damn I'd love to look all delicate and super thin.

Body of a little girl can be a selling point if you got for the right customer. [That probably made you throw up in your mouth a little. It's true though!]

I see little tiny super thin girls making tons of money at most clubs. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you're lacking confidence in your body, though... it really shows.
If you don't think you're the hottest thing ever... it's less likely anyone else will either. I think that matters way more than a good body.

haha that is my sorta customer because I look young aswel.. it does gross me out but I tend to just zone out. I might try a different club..the club I work at isnt alot of variety like alot of big fake boobs..so youd think I would stand out but I only seem to get customrs who are specifically into my sort of young look but the majority of customers like the curves..understandably!

I've asked a bunch of guys this question (not customers.. friends and etc) and although both face and body matter, every single one of them said body was -more- important. As far as sexual attraction goes anyway.

That being said, I ditto what others said about confidence. It is a -huge- factor. How you carry yourself can literally make you "seem" more attractive.

Personality plus hustle. However, if I have to choose body or face, Im gonna say body. If you have a pretty face and a nice body then that's awesome bc it's the whole package, but most guys stare at legs, tits and ass and don't really care about anything above the neck.

Of course, when Im interested in a girl they have to have a pretty face...

    ***Long-ish post, lol***

I agree with the consensus that guys tend to place a preference on body over face. More specifically, depending on the region (and often club to club in same region (!), the majority of the cilientele will be focused on a specific aesthetic (curves, waifs, blondes, exotic).

I have lost customers from going from slim/slightly curvy but less toned to a trimmer, sleek look in one club and had immediate overall success at different clubs with the new 'shape' . Hairstyle notwithstanding, my face has been the same for the most part so 'pretty' or not didn't seem to factor in to losing or gaining customers.

In addition, I often CANNOT seem to win with men who insist on girls with 'ass' because Ive never had one, slim or with a curvier figure! Nor with guys who like obvious, huge implants because I went from natural b/c to natural looking silicone c/d cup.

    For advice:
I'd recommend trying to get 'out of your body' at work, in the sense of quieting the insecurities within you. Do not worry how you 'look' to men. In their eyes, there will always be an initial hierarchy based on visual stimulaton, in and of itself, when they are surrounded by nearly naked women vying for their wallet.

How many times have you heard a floor host say, quite simply " that vip table needs a blonde" or "big boobs"? How many women would make a choice on spending time and money on someone on hair color alone without seeing if their face would be pleasing to them? In that way, yes, men and women can be vastly different!

Instead of focusing on the tendency of male customers to make snap judgments, transform your focus into studying your customers, read their expressions and body language in regards to what you are saying during your hustle and tune everything else out. Forget what anyone else is doing, customer or dancer, while you are with each customer.

As an example, think of someone you've met who you initially didn't find to be your 'type', guy or girl, for love/friendship/romance or to do business with but how within minutes you start to give them a second look. You find qualities within them that you wouldn't have, had you not started to find that person interesting.

Remember that, luckily, this applies to men as well as women. It is proven every time you see girls who are much less attractive, in whichever way you're interpreting attractiveness, get up and head to the lap dance room that personality, "charisma", "magnetism" etc can win over an otherwise uninterested party. Part of their appeal could be their natural charm. And the stronger part is their excellent hustler/killer instinct!

Lastly, when getting ready for work, think back to past customer interactions and daily social exchanges alike. Reflect on those which went amazingly well: where you were showered with compliments, times when you 'know' you won someone over when initially they may not have seemed receptive to you, and those who like you right away.

Which compliments stick out the most? Which specific feature is most often mentioned across all those different lines of communication and different types of people? Then focus on those and show ways to highlight them . Maybe you've always had awesome hair, the sweetest smile, a warm, friendly voice. Then try to make one of those your trademarks by enhancing and embellishing it within the club atmosphere.

    In short:
    1) Body counts a LOT for initial interest, yes.
    2) Personality/charisma/killer instinct secures the sale. The added ability to focus on THEM will build and keep loyal clientele
    3) A trademark makes you original, unique, and memorable. And it doesn't have to be limited to 'your body' as the sum of its parts!

Face never got me anywhere. No one ever seemed to care. Too bad cause it's my best physical feature.

Body over face every time. You usually can't tell how ugly the girls are with the lights and make up. Thats what guys stare at most when they are getting an LD, is the body. Sure there are some men who can appreciate a pretty face, the body is the most important factor after hustle skills of course.

Aw but it is still ALWAYS a good thing to have a pretty face never a negative.

I think in real life a pretty face can mean alot more than a good body its just in the club where its the other way round.

And Thank you london for the advice

I think it's a mix with me... honestly if a guy wants a girl with big boobs and a curves, I'm out, there's no way I can fake that. One customer last week told me "I don't want to be rude but... I'm a boob man." I took my cue and left.

I have really awesome unusual eyes (they're speckled) but nobody has ever noticed them in the club, probably because of the lighting. Based off the physical, I think I sell dances because of my super long platinum blonde hair, that's usually what guys like. And if they want a tall thin girl then that works too. But I think every customer is different... some are into your face, some are into your boobs, some your butt, some your hair, some don't really care what you look like they just want you to be fun or have a good ear, you really can't total your success to one or the other.

Body because you cant really see peoples faces in the dark ass strip club. Those lights hide a lot of things including bad skin and wrinkles

I'm not sure if this is the way in real life either. Unless a girl was REALLY ugly in the face, I would rather have a girl with a smoking body/ugly face than a pretty face/bad body. Sorry you are simply not going to get my attention especially in the SC, unless you have a nice body. It doesn't need to be perfect, but I don't care how gorgeous you are if you are fat/sloppy built/have no body then I have ZERO interest. But when I see a girl with the total package, then I LOVE her and must get a dance! My body ain't bad, but my face is way better. I gotta work on it.

Oh I wasnt really meaning the extremes of anything I just meant out of the people I know and the media the girls who are very good looking get alot more attention (i gues not including if they have a very bad body but an avg one) Than not good looking girls with amazing bodys.

i think guys in the club seem to care more about the body than the face in general. and it sucks cause i think my face is better than my body hahaha. i do get compliments from guys about having a pretty face but the only times they buy dances is when they also liked my body type. i do think that personality does help out a lot though.

I took an unofficial survey and the landslide winner was body. That said, as has been mentioned above, confidence can make up for a lot. Also, get familiar with your body type and what types of outfits work best on it. The right clothes can highlight your strengths and downplay your weaknesses (even if those weaknesses are only perceived).

In the stripclub, body matters most, if guys wanted to see pretty faces they would go to the mall instead. I find I am at a disadvantage here, because I am told I am beautiful by 90% of the men I approach (not to sound conceited), but someitimes I find that the girls who are curvier but with average or below average faces make more money than I do. I have gotten some VIP rooms and sold some dances by guys who were really into faces (more so than bodies). My body isn't bad, I am very petite and "thin" but toned w/ no body fat. Oh yeah I find that smaller guys like me more so than average or large men. But small guys are a minority in this country. I had a custie who said "maybe later" to me like twice then later on I saw him went into the dance room with a girl who was older looking and curvaceous but had an average face and somewhat of a muffin top hips. He was a big guy though so I understand he wouldn't want a dance from a small girl.
