    Default customer inluence on hiring

question to the club owners out there. If a dancer wants to move to your club and has a number of regs, and you turned her down, would you take a second look if her regs emailed your club saying they follow her wherever she goes.

I have one dancer that i have gone to 3 different clubs for her. Two of them i would have never stepped foot in.

I'm gonna throw my two cents in here, based on not personal experience, but on second-hand experience through other girls, and just the sheer number of clubs I've worked at.

I really don't think that would matter. At least, not in a big city. Someplace like Vegas - these clubs have girls knocking down their doors. I only got my current job because I had just come from work, so was in full stripper gear, had my cards on me, had my bag on me, and was ready to work. He could tell I was a "veteran", so he knew he wasn't wasting time on me.

I see at least two auditions per night at my club. Frankly, when you could hire one hot girl out of 3 that come into your club - one girl with a couple regulars isn't going to hold a lot of weight. If she's not the kind of girl they were looking at hiring, customers emailing the club probably isn't going to change their mind. If she was their type of girl, or if they didn't have enough of her "look", they would have taken her. To be blunt, there is a REASON she was turned down.

Your opinions will likely hold no water.

If you're in a smaller city or town, you could give it a shot. Sometimes the smaller clubs put caps on the number of dancers they'll have working, sometimes they're just picky. You could TRY and see - but keep in mind, you may come across as making HER look unprofessional. If she can't get the job on her own, it's going to make you both look desperate and pathetic if you email the club or it's owners.

IMO, your best bet is to keep your nose out of her business. Let her handle how and where she gets hired, it will be better for you both.

I have put in a good word a few times when a fav of mine was changing clubs but that was based on the fact that, being a long-time regular, I had a relationship with the club's manager or house mother, not simply with the dancer in question. I don't think a customer is going to have any influence on who a club hires.

Based on my experience working in a ton of strip clubs for a long damn time, I have to say I'd be surprised if that helped the girl get hired. In most cases, I'd be surprised if the owner or manager would even read the message.

wudnt do anything on my own for sure, just curious of how the owners look at it.
I have hired salespeople that have very loyal clients and it has added a lot of sales to my company. I am sure this is way different though. lol
    thanks

Yes, very different. I am not in sales but I have seen many instances where a sales rep changes companies and takes customers with them. While I have followed many dancers to new clubs that doesn't mean I stop going to their old club.

My club posts emails that they have been sent about dancers on the wall. Girls get hired/fired based on them. Also, this wouldn't happen to be the lovely dancer I think it is, would it? The one with a custy with a black amex who is a VIP at that particular club?
    Yes, I'm real.

Clubs here do not take a cut off dancer's lapdance or stage money, so managers wouldn't care if a dancer had "referrals" from prospective clients. It would be better for her just to walk into the club herself. A referral from another dancer currently at the club, or staff currently at the club, would be better. This is assuming the dancer and staff are in good favor with management.

Most club websites are run by a webmaster, who receives the emails. Managers and GM aren't sitting there reading mail, it may never get to them.

The only thing that clubs care about is their bottom line. If your girl isn't attractive enough to get hired on her own, then there isn't much you can do. Emails can be faked right? Phone calls can be made from friends of the dancer. The only way a dancer can prove that she pulls money into a club, is by actually doing it. And down here, its really only by getting high rollers who have huge CC tabs and buy VIP memberships. Its pretty much every man for himself in 95% of strip clubs.
