i think this thread needs resurrecting!

im not a top earner but whenever i done well, i always anticipated im going to have a good night, eg. big concert in town, friend i havent seen in ages is working, wanna show off my new outfit, wanna apply new strip n grow rich principles......

then as the novelty wears off i go back to mundane money.
i find if im working days in a row, doing something other than just sleeping and working, one thing i really like will be enough to freshen me up for the night eg. go to the new exhibition, take a train downtown to favorite cafe, get a pedicure....

once i spend heaps of money that week/day i put added pressure on myself to make it back.

i wish i could do something to help myself right now... i have work tonight and i feel blank, empty and tired

^ Baby girl! Have you done the Victory part of SGR? I think that will explain how to maintain the right attitude and cultivate a mindset that programs you for success, not just in the club though...this is important, i think what Avalon is trying to do with Victory is change how you see/feel/operate in life generally.

I actually find some of my top nights start out with me feeling like shit. This probably is because drinking is so encouraged at our club (girlshave open bar and get drinks commission) but when I'm ill or not in the mood I spend the first couple of hours chatting to the staff, building social capital, not drinking very much and not exerting much energy.
Meanwhile the other girls are getting drunk, chatting with all the customers, maybe making a dance or two, but by the time the customers are ripe and ready to spend on VIPs, the other girls are too drunk or already too busy to take advantage.
It sounds like crappy advice to not really work the first couple of hours, but it works well at my club. I have a hacking cough and came back to work last night after 4 nights off. I sat at the bar drinking herbal tea from 9pm to 1am and then got just under 4 hours in VIP from a guy who wanted to snuggle. No hustle involved.

I do this sometimes too, although not for 4 hours. I will ease into my night especially on a weekend. All the girls hit the floor so aggresively early in the night.... I like to sit at the bar, maybe have a drink, chat with the customers there( for some reason Im really good at making VIP sales from the bar) and start off a little more passively. Then once I get my feeling I start hustling hard. To me, it's all about my internal clock that says GO! Sometimes it starts right when I walk through the door but most busy nights it doesn't.

I usually consider my first customer a warm-up conversation. It doesn't often get me a dance, but having a little small talk with some guy at the beginning then leaving to free myself up for better customers, means I don't lose a good customer to bad chat later on.

I love this thread! Im working 5 nights in a row this week and that was totally motivating!

I'm by no means a top earner, but I know I do well, and money completely depends on your mood..which sucks, but, I try to read exerpts from The Secret, hustle hut, I'm going to start burning candles/incense because that totally perks me up- listen to my fave music driving to the club, and always ask the DJ to play my music (which luckily the club I work at now, every DJ is generally cool). I also try not to say ANYTHING negative about anything/anyone, and if I do, I apologize for judging. I find when you don't judge anyone, or anything, you bank.

i have kind of a new superstition/ritual. I listen to my favorite 'get happy' song, 'hey jude' in the car just before i get out. it always puts me in a great mood no matter what kind of day im having. since i started this 'ritual' i have been selling champagne rooms like crazy. could just be im finally getting back into my stripper groove since returning, or reading hustle hut, but im still going to do it every night : ).

My best nights are when I wake up with a very apathetic, "Eh, why not?" attitude. Like "Hm, alright I guess I go to work. I don't really need the money, but what the hell - nothing better to do.". Without fail, getting ready to go to work like it's no big deal translates into more money. Going in worried about whether I walk owing the house will lead to a night of disappointment.

My pre-work ritual is to be very blase' about it all. Going about getting ready like it's no big deal. Harder than it sounds, as I can be a very anxious person.

Let's see... pre-work I BLAST my favorite music while getting ready. I give myself however much time it takes until I feel like I really get the look I want. I eat something small, and take energy bars to work. Caffeine is a must, but I think the music is what does it. I listen to what I dance to. When I get to work I get ready quick and hit the floor even if no one is there. I STAY BUSY. Chances are if you worked with me you wouldn't see me during a shift at all because I go go go. I have a totally different look than anyone else at work, and when I start to get copied I change it up again. I am committed to making dedicated regulars and try to make at least a few new ones a week to make up for the few old ones who will cycle out eventually and find another girl. I give each and every person I talk to my best face and attitude and experience, if I can't do that I leave. HOWEVER, when I have reached the point of being SO DONE with the day/night that I can't fathom selling one more dance, I do ONE MORE anyway. This has made be BANK so many many many times in the past. Througout the day I keep a running tally in my head of types and lines that work on them and lines that don't. I keep my hustle short and sweet and my attitude desireable and positive no matter what. If thrown a curve ball I recoil to the dressing room and listen to more music and think happy thoughts. Good luck!

Its weird, even though I KNOW this stuff inside and out, it really does help to listen to it again and again and again to get into the Zone and own it.
That's not weird at all. I read over your tips as a refresher before I go in. It helps get me out of my own thoughts and focused on each individuals personality requirements.

The first night I broke $1,000 ($1,020 to be exact) I hadn't showered or shaved and wasn't wearing any make up. I was in a hurry to get there but I was determined to make money and had just bought Strip and Grow Rich three days before. I spent 2 or 3 hours reading over the material (and watching videos) and the principles worked.

I think it was just my attitude. I've never thought that looks had a huge play in who makes bank and who doesn't...of course, you don't want to look like a troll but I think my natural beauty and small frame speaks more for me than some MAC make up.

Big money nights can be hit or miss but top earners do well consistently across the board. I thought about it a little bit and think that girls who do well have something they like about dancing, something that works for them. Maybe it's getting dressed up, maybe the hustle, maybe it's stage, or even the flattering comments from customers. In short, they may not love every night, but they like the job. I like the job. There isn't another one I'd rather be doing right now. I like men, I like money, and I like many aspect of this line of work that others do not offer. That, to me, has something to do with my earnings.

There are some girls who hate men. I hear them talk about customers like they are scum and no surprise, their earnings reflect their attitudes. No top earner I've ever known has had this attitude. One girl I worked with for a few years who to this day is my idol was by far the top earner of any club Ive EVER worked at. She never complained. She worked her ass off, 5 days a week (at least) at least 8 hours per day. She educated herself with a business degree. She was always the most expensive to take to the VIP (we could quote our own prices). She never talked shit about the job or customers.

Loving your job (or anything) is about attitude and that's what Tony Robbins and others try to teach. How we react to our surroundings. We CAN learn to love our jobs and earnings usually reflect that as much as they are able.

I dunno but for some reason giving the "Fuck off" vibe works for me. It's weird I will be a complete bitch. But if I'm in a cheerful mood I usually don't make shit.

I'm often the top earner at my club, usually 1st or 2nd on rotation (we base that order on the amount of dances each person does in a week). For my pre-work ritual, I get excited about what I'm going to do on stage, how I'm going to do my makeup and hair, what I will wear first, etc. I focus on me, not on customers or dances or money.

Also, I let my first dance come to me usually, and that sets the ball rolling. I start asking for dances after that. When I get rejected, I disappear for a bit into the dressing room and just relax, fix my makeup, do what I have to do to feel "fresh." Then I go back out and try again with someone else, and I don't often get rejected on the second attempt.

I don't know why these things work for me, but they do.

Going to the gym before work really helps boost your confidence and gets you active and ready to dance!!!

My ritual: Go to the gym for 30 minutes to an hour, then eat a small meal, then shower and get beautiful for the fellas, pack my snacks for work, and then head in!

I'm not necessarily a high earner (yet... I'm only 7 months into dancing), but I've had 4 over $1000 nights in my short career as a dancer. Last night was my best night to date and I followed this ritual.

Going to the gym makes you feel good about yourself, and confidence is everything in this industry.

I saw a Thai dancer saying a prayer. I thought it was really sweet & hopeful. She does decently, so I suppose believing in a higher power to guide you through the nite works.
