Default what is a clubs responsibility to protect it's dancers?

Tonight at work a customer licked a dancers asshole while she was bent over on stage. The club (Club Foxy in Guam) refused to kick him out as he was a "paying customer." His entire little group of friends spent MAYBE $75 all night. At any other club I have ever worked at licking a dancers asshole would have meant IMMEDIATLY being kicked out of the club and possibly arrested. Instead the owner and managers of this club allowed the patron to stay. What is the clubs LEGAL obligation to protect it's dancers in a situation like this?

Likely, they have NO legal obligation to protect the dancers. Aside from what is typically expected of a business (usually meaning generally safe building structure, etc). Most dancers are private contractors, not -employees-. In fact, you usually sign a form before working at any club that basically says anything that happens to you there is not the clubs responsibility.

Also, as sad as it may be, aside from actual proven RAPE or extreme physical assault, any dancer would have a -very- hard time pressing charges because she was groped/licked/etc. It is, unfortunately, commonly seen as an "accepted" aspect of the job.

Of course, I have no idea what the legal situation is in Guam. I'm only speaking from the clubs I know of.

^^^ Yup, as independent contractors, dancers have no 'right' to expect that clubs or club staff are legally obligated to provide 'civilian' enforcement of any law. If there is a legal duty, it ends at calling in official LE.

and in Guam or any other US state or territory, in the absence of 'hard evidence' or the direct witnessing of a law being broken by a 'disinterested' third party ( bouncers arguably aren't 'disinterested' since their income may be increased by dancers breaking the law or by allowing customers to break the law), it will still be an uphill battle for any 'stripper' to involve official LE based on her word versus the customer's word.

about 10 people saw it. (at least 5 customers and 5 other dancers)very packed and busy when this happened.

So lets say that dancer punched the customer in the face after being licked. Would that be considered self defense or assult?

and earlier this week a dancer (the favorite of management) physically attacked another dancer in the dressing room. this is not the first time this girl has attacked other dancers. are they not legally obligated to NOT allow people like her back after the 3rd or 4th violent incident? this girl is a loose cannon, and potentially a threat to customers.

It'd be her word against his and most likely wouldn't go anywhere.

It is not self defense... as much as it would be understandable to knock the loser out....

OMG, ewww! And noone kicked him out? WTF?! I'm shocked! After working there for three months I thought I had a pretty good idea of what they would/wouldn't do in situations like that, but I guess I was wrong.

And the fighting? Is it who I think it is? PM me girlie.
