    Question a typical outfit

I was wondering, what what exactly should I wear while dancing? I mean, obviously something easy to take off...haha but what exactly should I wear? I'm so new...I just don't want to go and look like an idiot. Anyway, thank you in advance.

Have you visited any clubs in the area you'd like to work at? take a look at what the girls are wearing there. Do you know if there are any shops that sell dance wear where you live?

^ Agreed. You don't want to show up at a gown club with a bikini set, and you don't want to show up at a dive with rhinestone jewelry and evening gloves. Visit your club before you even think about going in to audition. It will give you a good idea about what to wear, as well as what would be expected of you if you worked there.

Taking all the advice that's already been given, I'm adding this question to the post.

I have no stripper shoes-just super high pumps and heels, and nothing to wear besides a few sets of lingerie. Since I was also wondering what to wear to audition, and I'm not sure of the dress code for the clubs I'm wanting to audition for, would it be ok to just bring a set of the lingerie and some shoes to match? Just until I figured out what was acceptable at the club.

If I got the job I would then go out and get the appropriate gear.

How do you know you want to work at a club if you've never visited it?

Get a guy friend, go the club as a custy DURING the days/hours you want to work. Make mental notes of what they are wearing. Ask the dancers where they buy thier stuff, buy one outfit from that store. Dont bother buying high heels if you already have them. Later on you will make more investments in your costumes and "stripper persona"

Wearing civvie lingerie shouts newbie, lol, but lingerie is never a good idea for hygene reasons. Some thongs arent tight enough and dont properly cover your genitals. You can bend over and some jerk will try to stuff a quarter in your butthole.

The basics for many clubs are a short halter/tube dress, a long halter/tube dress, two peice bikini with shorts or mini/long skirt. It varies from club to club.
I'm getting my Dial-A-Stripper service up and running again. If you are in NYC or NJ and are interested in private party dancing, email [email protected] with your SW handle, contact info, photo (if you have one) & best time to call and I'll get back to you asap.

If you're having a party and need strippers, email me with the details and any questions you have. Thanks!

I noticed at my club last night that there was a large variety of what girls wore, as opposed to the last time I was there 2 weeks ago. This time there were more costumy pieces and not just lacy bra/thong sets.

I say go scope the place out, see what everyone else does. Of course your first instinct will be to do what everyone else does, but you want to stand out a bit. For example, one girl last night broke out with the funky chicken and the robot, and the whole room cheered and she got a ton of guys begging her for private dances She was awesome.

And yeah, a lot of girls were wearing legwarmers, stockings, whatevers. Just make sure they match the rest of your attire. It's probably a good idea to wear close-toed shoes if you wear them tho, otherwise it just looks weird :p

First,go to the club and watch the other girls.See what thier wearing, how they behave, how they dance, and if the club is really what YOU think it is.
Second, call the club and see what they allow/what thier dress code is.You don't want to spend alot of money on something you could never wear there.
Third, spend more money on your shoes than a starter outfit. You're going to be standing/dancing in them for hours at a time and yes,you need a little time to learn to walk/dance in them.
