Default Long gowns and pole work

I've worn lots of dresses at work but have always shyed away fro wearing long gowns for some reason. Recently, I've not only started wearing them but I'm liking them and buyinh more of them. Heres my question: would you do pole work after taking off a long gown? For some reason the idea just doesn't sound right to me; it seems foreign. Also some of the music I play (mostly rock) just seems like it doesn't match either...... Any suggestions?also_ if anyone knows of any websites where I can buy more long gowns, I'd love you forever. Thanks you guys.

I've done pole work while wearing long gowns, I just have trouble with long sleaves. Just work with your arms and don't use your legs to balance at the bottom of pole. when climbing use a side climb with only one leg and have your dress swing to other side. good luck, and keep a tight grip on pole because there will be slips.
BTW I dance to hard rock, type o, zombie, pantera, slayer...the good stuff.

You know a long time ago my best friend who was also a stripper said she thought it was hot when girls did pole work in long gowns. Maybe because it's different.

She has good taste and is pretty much on the pulse of cutting edge when it comes to style and what not. Try it and see if you like it.

In Canada I was shocked to not see many girls do pole work in gowns they mainly do it in shorter dresses. I did pole work in a gown on my friends advice. Nothing fancy just a few different spins if I could manage it.

Maybe try finding a long gown that has a really long/high slit in the one leg, that way when you're doing pole tricks you can peek your legs out from the dress- so that way you still have enough traction from your bare legs to grip the pole for tricks.

Thanks you guys, I guess its just going to take a little getting used to.
Anyone know any websites that I can buy them from? I know snaz75 carries nom de plume, but I'd love to see what my other options are.
