    Default My tip log

Just curious to see how everyone else is doing.

Im still new at this. I made a table to keep track of how much I have been making. My total tips, take home money, house fees, tip outs, ect. I hope once I get better and get my hustle down I can see some better numbers. I have the table on a word document but it wont let me attach it so here it is copy and pasted with only total tips and total take home.

    Is this about average?

    My Tips/Take Home
    $399 $349
    $264 $224
    $235 $215
    $308 $288
    $250 $185
    $197 $167
    $290 $255
    $175 $145

Depends on where you are and what your club is like. Thats not bad for a newbie though. Hell...if I could consistently average $300, I might go back to dancing!

Depends on how you work I guess. Everyone's average is different but that is still good in this economy for a newbie.

My first month or two I had trouble making over $200 a night!

Now I'm doing better than I used to. I think I wanna make a tip-log too

That's really good. I'm damn lucky to walk out with $40-$50 a night but the rest of the girls (both of them lol) usually don't make house and 1 only makes money by promoting her escort service. But still... only 5-15 customers come in a night, I only get on stage 2 or 3 times in 8 hours, and only have to sell a couple dances to get this. So for the work that goes in, this is pretty good money lol. Don't get me wrong... there are nights when it gets busy and I make over $100, but there's just not much money floating around this particular club and I take the majority of it. (not trying to sound concieted; I'm nothing special, but the other 2 are pretty rough)

    Congrats on your steady money.

That's better than I'm doing, and I've been dancing for two years. It really depends on the area you're in, the club you're at, the weather outside, the time of year it is, the clientele you target, and your sales methods. Some girls consistently make more than others. Doesn't mean there's someone wrong with the girls who make less. Maybe the one girl hustles more. Maybe she has a lot of regulars. Maybe she's just really experienced. Everyone has a different average. Don't worry about what other girls make, and don't worry if your earnings start to go downhill briefly. It happens. It always picks back up.

Yeah, it's hard to say what's average, but those are decent numbers. You're smart to keep track of your earnings, both for your own reference and for tax purposes. You might even want to keep track of what you wore, what hours you worked, and how much you tipped out each individual.

I think that's pretty good for being a new girl and working in this economy. It's also good that you're keeping track of your earnings each night so that you will be able to tell which days are the best for you money-wise.

    Where do you work?

    Looks good to me!

I keep track of all my earnings too, I find it really helpful to look back over all the numbers together. And, from looking at the numbers next to the day I was working, I learned that for me, working on Tuesdays is just... just no!

    Good job girl

I kinda figured someone would ask. Several reasons.

First off, it's the only club close to me that I'm able to get to. I have one of those "point A to point B" cars that I can't count on for 2 hour trips to better clubs.
Secondly, this is the perfect opportunity to get more comfortable with the job, learn how to sell, learn how to deal with assholes, etc, without really hurting my money by experimenting
Third, and this is what I have to tell myself each day I work... It's $40-$50 MORE than what I walked in the door with. I'm grateful.

But yes, with steady transport and a little more comfort and confidence, you bet I'll be looking for a better place to work.

ETA: I live in a very rural area that depends on tobacco fields and factories for money. We only had 2 factories around here, one shut down and the other cut 2 out of 3 shifts. Only immigrants are hired for tobacco fields because we have some "immigrant farm workers" thing that helps them get work regardless of their status. Unfortunately they come in and pretend to not speak english, grab and slap all the girls, and spend no money. (NOT being racist/discriminative/anything else, just stating how things play out in this area) Towns are 20 miles apart. Towns and villages, not cities. The only 24 hr business is walmart.
Point being, it's not that there's just no money in that club. There's no money in the entire area.
