When I was in high school I purchased some Cover Girl Foundation. What a mistake!!!

It broke my skin out like crazy. My mom had to take me to the dermatologist to clear it up!

    Olay's Total Effects Daily Mosturizer...
It made my foundation go on sooo smoothly and blend sooo nice... but it gave me acne like a mother fucker! And I normally get like, one zit every couple of months.

The Olay Regenerist Serum is nothing but silicones. It did make a somewhat noticeable difference in my skin, but the feeling of those dry but yet somehow thick and greasy silicones on my skin made me cringe, AND it broke me out!

Anything Johnson & Johnson Clean and Clear. The Morning Burst facial cleanser made my skin oily. The acne ointment made my skin red and peely.

This actually worked really well for me... but it dries out before you can get through more than a quarter of it. D:

Any drugstore eyeshadows.. all colors are pale and shake off your eyes fast even with a primer.

Smashbox foundation primer... pure silicone, feels so gross on your face! Don't waste your money. The best one out there is MUFE, it's very light and makes your foundation go on smoothly.

I really wanted to like the Estee Lauder daywear prevention lotion but it totally broke me out. Switched back to Clarins.

Tried Proactive because I was breaking out from my stage makeup and it didn't do anything..I used it until the bottles were gone and my skin is even worse now. Very overpriced, overly hyped product. It's better to just go to a derm and get prescription medication.

Bath and Body works lotion. I loooove the warm vanilla sugar scent but hate how their lotion feels going on. Kinda sticky and doesn't really moisturize.

All drugstore makeup and brushes suck. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to makeup and skincare. It's worth it to buy the $20 foundation you'll use every drop of than waste $20 trying three different cheapo ones that you end up throwing out. That's how I justify buying expensive products

I actually have some great eyeshadows..druge store ones of course. They come out dark or bright just as I need them. Plus they don't require me to buy mac even though it's nice, it's just too expensive for the amount of colors and eyeshadows I have.

Although I have had a few of them that were no good whatsoever. The creme ones---ugh...horrid.

Jay, you should (if you still have it, or even if you don't, a receipt?) bring it back, & tell them you had an allergic reaction, (which you did) they must refund your $! I mean damn, that's a lot of damn $.
I never used LM, but one thing I didn't like, was that it contains mineral
oil. I'm a compulsive lablel reader, so that was a turnoff.

Anyway, on to another loser product: I don't know the name, but it's a 'hair mascara' thingie that's used to touch up roots, & Ulta sells it for around $5.00. (Prob. Sally's too). TOTAL CRAP!!! It was supposed to be a light brown, but came out an ashy white, plus dried to consistency of CEMENT on my hair, even after I did major blending. Right before a date, nice. I took it back & got a refund.

I will be sticking with my neutrogena 15 sunscreen/moisturizer. It acts as the perfect primer for bare minerals foundation.
I don't like the Bare Escentuals primers either. They are sticky, and don't do anything.

I do like Smashbox primer. Any dryness that I have after moisturizing is covered, and it keeps my Bare Minerals foundation from looking too cakey/powdery.

Maybelline Lash Stiletto. The brush felt like you were trying to put mascara on with a toilet brush.
Max Factor Facefinity Compact. Doesn't keep the skin matte. Also "porcelain" my ass, it's still too dark for a pale person.

Any cream that says it reduces wrinkles. What a pack of lies! I've spent thousands on those stupid creams, when I should have been doing botox and restylane the whole time.

Hoodia. Didn't seem to effect me one bit.

Urban Decay lipstick. The stupid little dagger on the bottom of the tube was poking holes in the lining of my purse. The lipstick started sticking to the side of the tube and I couldn't get it out without a lip brush. And once on my lips, it would get all gunky and the color didn't last very long.

Ditto on ProActiv. It worked wonders for me when I was a teenager, but now it just dries my skin out terribly.

Body Shop Seaweed line. It's supposed to be for Combination skin, but using it, my blemishes and blackheads got worse, and the dry parts of my skin got flaky.

Actually I sent it back to them and told them exactly why. I will say one thing good, their customer service was fab. Full refund. No issues at all.

lash blast is the best drugstore mascara I've ever used.... Like EVER. Only buy the orange tube; the others are junk. The only problem with it, is that it needs to be replaced after 3 weeks because it starts clumping then. But a fresh tube works great. I'm trying to decide whether its worth it to keep spending 10bux every 3 weeks, or if I should start using lancome definacils again.
