I would like my back to be more flexable(like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kklINFFnDg0) How do I go about being able to get my back into a super arch without hurting it?
-Thanks-

are you joking? she's a contortionist. that's not possible for normal people.
can you do a back bend at the moment? do you do yoga?![]()
Whilst I think that is very talented its not attractive..are you wanting to do that in a strip club? lol
Try yoga.

Being flexible is nice, but that degree of flexibility is not for exotic dancing at all. Most guys would be like WHAT THE HELL GROSS. But then, every dancer has her quirks!
As stated above, that degree of flexibility is also not something you can necessarily train your body to do. That's not to say you shouldn't work on becoming more flexible, because being limber is nice. Just don't hurt yourself trying to achieve something your body is not built for. Especially when your back/neck are concerned, you could seriously injure yourself if you aren't careful.
That said, one easy way to help is to lay on your tummy and push your head/chest up while keeping your pelvis flat and square on the floor. But LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!! You won't get there any faster by pushing past your limits, and none of us want you to become a paraplegic as a result![]()

If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
OMG, Im gonna have to agree with Bexxx. Talented, but not attractive.
Wow thats one flexible lady! I think that if you try bending backwards for a bit each day would help? Maybe pilates?

Awesome, a sure point in the right direction. thanks!
This is why i wanted it,
38 seconds in- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKwnRa_wsMk#
and this,
2min 53 seconds in- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9bFH...eature=related
I want this but more arch, at 1min 27seconds- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGA1P...eature=related
Thanks again!

While some degree of flexibility IS possible for everyone, what the woman in the video is doing relies on double-joints and dislocation, which is NOT possible/safe for everyone, and attempting it can lead to serious permanent injury.
Please, listen to your body and be very careful when attempting any of this, and if possible, get a trainer if you are serious about learning contortion.
Another one you may want to watch is Daniel Browning Smith ("The Rubber Boy") who brings some humor into contortion. Also, Cirque du Soleil is world famous for their contortionists. skip to 0:25. I looooove her, she's adorable and talented and wow![]()
Edit: and also this one: is pretty badass. Ulziibayar is not double jointed, however she was naturally flexible and started doing contortion at age 5.
