I make the same money as a blonde and a brunette. That being said, I had to work harder for my money as a blonde. As a brunette, I seem to attract a better clientele that pays for my conversation and company with dancing being secondary. As a blonde, I would make my money by dancing all night - it was exhausting, but the same amount of money.

There are enough bubbly blondes out there. They do it better than I do, so I let them have it. My personality didn't match the stereotypical blonde persona customers expected. I'm not good at hiding that I'm smart and acting young and slutty, which is what a lot of blonde fetishists want.

I dyed my hair in an experiment and also read all the psychology topics on it i could find. I am a natural red head. The red hair actually seemed to be a deterrent. (get the comment of 'I dated a red head once, you guys are mean') The books say that blonde come off as more easy/dumb and approachable. Brunette come across as earthy and someone to settle down with. Somewhere around 15% of men like red hair. Not enough for good cash if you ask me. I tend to come off with a strong personality (with little skills in communication hehe) and it makes me difficult to approach so I chose to be blonde. And ya know, it has really helped the cash flow. And it seems they accept the just smiling and nodding thing much better as they assume I'm just a dumb blonde. (no offense to blondes at all, I know it is a stereotype) On a second note, I asked my brother. He prefers dark girls with dark hair but said all his friends always run straight for the girl with the bleach blonde hair. Keep in mind that finding the right color of blonde to look natural is a big thing. The facade doesn't work nearly as well if yours hair looks dyed.

I have naturally red hair and I usually die it light brown with blonde highlights or auburn with blond highlights. I love how girls with blond hair look. Im not sure if it would work for me though and Iv asked customers, what do you think if I dyed my hair blond for a little while. ALL of them had said they prefer women with darker hair color because when they come to the strip club they want a girl with a look that they dont see everyday. I live in Texas and most girls at some point try blonde. A couple of customers said they never buy dances from blondes.

However, you should go with whatever makes you feel beautiful. It helps your hustle. If you work in a club with mostly white girls, Id go for darker hair to stand out. If you work in a club with mostly blacks and/or hispanics, go for lighter hair to stand out.

I am switching over to blonde, so I will let you guys know in a couple of weeks how it works out. There are so many dark haired girls at my club, so the blondes stand out. I think having something that gets attention will make it easier to make money so I wont have to work as hard. I feel like unless you work at a club with ONLY blondes, the blonder the hair hte more you stand out because it is brighter and catches the eye. Brunette blends into the shadows.

One thing i can say for sure, is i make more money with long hair. Men LOVE it and you can do so much with it in a lap dance. I just took my extensions out on Wednesday night, and yesterday at work I realized how much of my moves involve my hair. I think I went to flip my hair at least 10 times and realized I didnt have enough to flip . Plus you can drape it over a guy and make everything all sensual.

You should be able to make money in reality with any hair color. I used to have short blue hair and I made pretty good money. However, I had to compensate for it A LOT with my personality and hustle. Then when I switched over to long normal colored hair, it was a piece of cake to make money because I was so used to having to hustle hard iwth the short hair. Kind of like if you go running with weights, then you take them off and its suddenly really easy. Now that I have short hair again, I realized my hustle and moves have gotten lazier. Fortunately I will be long haired again in a week!
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Oh I just buy 'em anywhere really. More expensive ones with silkier hair seem to last longer. To look more natural- you gotta go for ones with bangs because it's the hairline that gives it away. Thats why a fall is so brilliant because your real hair is exposed. Sometimes I style the wig with little clips and for some reason that makes it very believable-looking. I'd say out of the 5% of guys that can tell, 75% of those don't mind that it's a wig.

I started dancing a year ago and was caramel blonde. About a month or two ago I dyed my hair to an espresso brown that looks black in the club. I just was tired of looking unnatural. I'm half Peruvian and half German so I have a more "exotic" look, or so I thought. I asked my mom and boyfriend what they thought and they said that the blonde looked natural the majority of the time and my mom even said I looked BETTER as a blonde. I stood my ground and disagreed with her since even if I wanted to go back to being blone I couldn't for a while since my hair is damaged. My BF prefers the brunnette thing, but he would love me if I had green hair so that doesn't count.

Also my mother might be biased because a lot of South Americans with the typical South American feautures (mocha skin, dark hair, big hips) tend to obsess over looking more "American".

It is now the off-season so I am unable to gauge if my hair color will effect my income but tourist season starts in January, so I'll know then.

I still make decent money but I noticed that not as many customers will grab me off the floor for quick dances or pay as much attention to me on stage.

What do you ladies think or have learned in your expierience? Do blondes win in the club? Does it even matter?

I'm also interested in hearing other latin women's expierience with this.
When I get pics I will also post them so I can get more input.
Maybe the dark hair look didnt work for your particular features. It's not about hair color. Some girls look terrible in dark hair if they look better in blond, and vice versa. I do better than some blondes and I'm dark haired. Not all blondes are hot and not all brunettes are hot. Just do what looks best on YOU.

For some girls its their pretty face and gorgeous bodies that stand out that the hair color matters less.

I doubt hair color has much to do with $ earning anyway, no matter the location... I think earning is more about personality and sincerity and charm. And what hair suits YOU.
