Default Cellulite, Acne, and Your Diet

... and how they are all related. I thought this was interesting read, since it has actual scientific data to back up its claims and is written very simply. What exactly causes cellulite (Chapter 11) and how to actually get rid of it, which is NOT what you think it's going to be! If you guys have some free time, you should definitely read this!

EDIT: I just read through it some more, and there is an entire section about diet and exercise, and why eating cooked meat is bad and dairy are bad. I would really like some people who are knowledgeable about diet and fitness to give me some honest feedback about this source.

I'm glad you replied, I remember your term paper and was hoping you would give me your opinion on this e book. I know you're super busy, and if it's not asking too much, could you read through its entirety? All the info kind of makes sense together when you finish it; you could read it in less than an hour. This is a lifestyle I have gradually been trying to convert to, and this makes me want to make the final leap.

Before you start treating this as gospel, note that all source material was from the 1960s through the mid 1990's. I went straight to the appendix to see where the author got his/her/their information, and most of the material was out dated and from other authors who were not scientists. There were some citations of scientific papers, but those were 1972 or earlier.

So do be cautious when using this as your guide on healthy eating. I've totally given up on the nutrition experts, and have decided to just eat natural foods in combinations that are pleasing to me. No pre-packaged junk for me, and I buy organic whenever possible.

I find this much easier than trying to keep up with the latest scientific research on healthy eating. Since the invention of nutrition science (about 500 years ago), nutritionists have been causing their adherent's to get sick and die by sticking to specialty diets.

I agree one hundred percent Paris, I did the same.

I also agree that eating as healthy as possible ( I hate the expression eating "clean") is the best way to do it. For example, a serving of meat is supposed to be the size of your palm... can you think of anyone off of the top of your head who considers that a serving? The way peope eat in this country is so skewed that people resort to BS like the Master Cleanse et al to drop some water weight and then go back to eating like shit again.

What I personally do JD, is I don't eat sweets, I don't eat anything processed. I read labels. I don't drink soda aside from maybe one can of diet coke per week as an indulgence. I watch my portions, and I listen to my body: eat when I'm hungry, stop when I am full. Most people don't realise full isn't "stuffed". You also have to take your metabolism into account and your activity level.

Maybe I am preaching to the choir but I would say if you cut out 100% of the crap in your diet, you'd have equally good results as any diet regime.
