Default Too good to get a dance

I've seen guys lately(its always the young ones in groups) who, when i ask them if they wanna dance, they say, "oh i'm just not that guy whos into dances". Or, "thats not my style".
Like they are too cool to get a dance or something lol! Sometimes it works in my favor and he'll get a dance for his friend, but why come to a stripclub and say that? I mean what is his style,"I'm a cheapass who wants a free show"? I dont get guys like this.

they're young, stupid, and want to look big in front of their friends by shooting the stripper down.

some of them are just embarrassed. if they tip, i don't care. it's when they don't tip and don't buy dances and then do shit like by bottles as though i am impressed they spent hundreds of dollars on vodka. i, sir, am not.

i haven't worried about men like this in a long time. work them for tips if you're bored, or move on to better customers.

Its that stupid "how to date a stripper" crap. They actually think it makes them look like they are more than customers. Fuck that, it just makes you look like a big douche

Just move along, nothing to see there. Get him to buy a friend a dance if he's having it. Sometimes its nice to use his friends against him to make him look like a fool. Several times I've insulted a guy like this, his buddies loved it, and all bought dances from me. They are cannon fodder, use them to get out your aggressions at custies, hehe.

^^^yep!Just another way of them being cheap. It's like dating a guy who would take out out to eat all the time at the best restaurants, but will never give you a gift.In their eyes they're spending this money on themselves by doing that.

I'm the kind of person who trys to get everyone in the club to spend money on me. We get alot of these types at my club as well because it's an 18+, especially on the weekends.

What I like to do with these ones is throw it right back at them and say something like "if you weren't into dances then you wouldn't be here, so spread 'em and show your buddies how a real man acts at a strip club!" all of this said while moving into position to dance.

If they say "it's not my style", again just throw it back at them "Honey, if being gay was your style you wouldn't be here looking at all these beautiful ladies - let's show your friends how a real man gets things done!" again while moving into position to dance.

Usually what will happen, is he'll get it because he doesn't want to look like a loser in front of his friends. Most of the young ones are just too nervous to get dances/don't want to be the first one to get a dance in their group or they are in denial about the fact of why they are actually there (to have fun with gorgeous women) because they have this stereotype of the typical stripclub customer in their head as being some lonely old man who hasn't been laid in 10 years.

I just say "Yeah you didn't strike me as the (generous) type." Turn around and start talking to his friends.

I say "well if you don't like buying dances, then you must like buying drinks!" (we make money selling drinks at my club)

If they turn me down for that, I ask them why they are there and tell them they should leave. I told one guy who gave me that bullshit on Saturday he was wasting space for a REAL man to come and buy dances.

Some even go on to say shit like - why should I get a dance when I can get some for free any time of the day? That really bugs the shiet out of me. But I just turn around and move on.

Yeah, we get a lot of the groups of younger guys that all sit together, refusing to buy dances. It usually takes at least an hour, probably longer, for them to kind of drift off to their separate ways in the club. While together, no one wants to buy a dance for himself, because he doesn't want his buddies to know his type, and he doesn't want to get turned on in front of them. But he'll buy a dance for his friend, and then his friend is all embarrassed cause all the guys are staring at him and laughing at his discomfort for the whole dance. Most of the time, the way I make a sale from one of these guys is if one gets up to go get another drink, and I catch him at the bar, and then he's very likely to buy a private dance because he can get away from his friends. Or once all the friends have had enough drinks, some of the guys will come up to the stage while I'm dancing, and ask about private dances. Then they'll go buy a dance token before my stage set is even up.

I guess as long as they remain in that first tight little pack and stay sober, there's little to no chance at making money off of them.

All those lame young guys do is take up space. If they think they're too good to get a dance, they shouldn't be in the club at all.

I stay away from any guy who says that sort of thing, UNLESS he's made it clear that he's someone who pays for time/conversation.

In general, any guy who talks about how "stupid" any aspect of the strip club is.. is a time waster. Here are some things customers say that translate to "I'm not going to spend money" IMO:

"I don't see the point of dances, I'll just get all worked up and then what?"
"What's with all these old dudes in here by themselves?"
"What's the story with THAT GUY (points to well dressed customer surrounded by girls) what is he like, shelling out money or something?"
"I'm really not a strip club kinda guy"
"What's the point of paying someone to like you?"
"I'd rather take you out to dinner"

and my personal favorite (<---smell the sarcasm)

"Get dances? Oh, I couldn't do that to you. You're too nice/pretty/etc for that"

Yep, spot on. I would move QUICKLY if any customer says any of the above. I especially love it when they make fun of the other guys that are spending money on dances, or tell us they feel sorry that we have to dance for degenerate perverts all night.
