Default Is it better to fit in with the "type" of the other girls or not?

Here is my burning question: I get mistaken for a highschooler on a regular basis. I have natural beauty and I don't know how to put on makeup because I really don't need any. I am very small. Anyway, I want to start dancing at the club where my friend DJs... but the other girls there look like, well, grown-ass sexy women, and I look like I need to get carded and sent back to drama class. Maybe I should go to a different club where I fit in better? It's a tourist town, so I don't think I would be depending on regulars, but lots of drunken partiers wandering in. Maybe guys who are into my "type" would come in and I would have them to myself, or maybe they would just wander out again and go to Barely Legal. Of course, I can only spend time with one dude at a time. IDK. Which would be the best place? Is it better to fit in or be the unusual, odd one?
Also, do you think the other girls will forcefully create new orifices on my body where none are necessary?
    Please advise and thank you!

It's better to stand out, but not be the odd one, which I don't think you would be. Play up your youngness, it will work to your advantage.

Looking like everyone else is bad, but being the weird looking one at a club is also bad. You want to stand out in a good way-- set your self apart without driving away customers.

Your problem is that you look young: I dont see this being a bad thing. I would wear clothes that make you look more sophisticated perhaps if you are insecure about being young. Play up your youth in a positive way-- but do it so you still look like a woman and dont strike the possible pedophile nerve. Maybe dont opt for a school girl skirt. Go for something sexier and sleek and dress it up with a rhinestone choker or something. Ive always thought dresses with a cowl neckline are sophisticated looking, not at all high schooler looking. heres an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/EXOTIC-DANCER-ST...QQcmdZViewItem kind of shitty example, but i couldnt find a better example easily :-p. You can also find colors that will enhance how youthful you look (brighter colors) but make you look classy. If you are hot, being the young sexy one in a crowd of older sexy women can definitely be a good thing.

I dont see any reason why girls would forcibly create new orifices .

    Are you dancing in NOLA?
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

I think it's important to stand out but I can relate to this situation a bit. I'm also pretty small and don't wear a lot of makeup so sometimes I feel like I look really young. I'm still in the process of getting an outfit but I've got shoes and when I wear them, put on some makeup, and maybe toss my hair a little, I look a lot less like a little girl. I think its mostly the heels because once I get them on I don't feel "little" anymore because of the added height. See if it works for you, but I'd still play up your youth.

School girl outfit, pig tails. white knee socks. Try out the young look, and if you feel uncomfortable, you will have some more money and experience, so you can buy some more mature outfits and learn hair/makeup. I think a lot of us looked like little girls when we started, you'll pick up what works if you don't get drunk, and pay attention.

You want to fit in with the style of the club but have something to distinguish yourself.

I'm the young one in my club and the guys LOVE IT. I was the only girl to get more than one lapdance last night, and I got 4 if that says anything... The guys want something different. Being the "little cute one" helps immensely when all the other girls look similar to eachother.

Totally played up the schoolgirl look yesterday and it was a lot of fun. If you are going to do this, avoid pink makeup or fuzzy scrunchies. You want to look young and cute, not jailbate young. That will scare some guys away.

You want to stand out, but not to the point where it is strange. For example, if you went to a Chinese restaurant and found pizza on the menu next to the chow mein and Kung Pao, that would not be a good fit for the customers of that restaurant. Ditto with strip clubs. If the club is focused on a particular look, like a club that caters to Latino customers for instance, you would have to change your look up a bit to better fit in that atmosphere.

Looking young is definately a good thing in this business. Maybe event try lying to the customers about your age, and see what happens. With just the right guy, if you say you are 16 using a fake ID, he will empty his bank account for you.

It's sooo sad how true that is.

Standing out is a very, very good thing. At my club, I'm one of the only blondes, and the only natural blonde with long, long hair. It makes me stand out. Recently I've been wearing a bright yellow outfit that glows under the black light, even though I'm a rocker chick and usually wear black. But the yellow emphasizes the blonde, and I've been fucking banking in the outfit.

Find what emphasizes your differences from the other girls, and go with it.

I agree that standing out is a great thing in your case. I remember having a very similar situation 7 years ago when I started dancing. I was 21 but looked about 17 or 18 and worked at a gown club where the majority of girls were in their mid to late 20's. The school girl look can work wonders for you, but if some nights you'd like to be a bit more sophisticated try a gown and darker makeup. Like you, I didn't know jack about make up when I started dancing (had the same natural beauty issue)... Most department stores have makeup counters where they will actually evaluate your look and show you how to do your makeup (that's how I learned), usually they just ask that you buy something like a lipstick or eyeshadow. Also, you tube is great for finding new ways to apply makeup, one person who's tips I really enjoy and use often for work is http://www.youtube.com/user/MakeupByTiffanyD. This chick has some awsome makeup tips and the best part is it's free.

one thing you can do to glam it up a little is a little shimmery beige or gold eyeshadow, heavy mascara or false lashes, then a bit of shimmery cheek highlight powder or blush, or bronzer if thats what goes better with your skin tone.

I would never underestimate the power of makeup. There definately is an "overboard" look that I don't endorse, but I also think even natural beauty can be enhanced: A la the "fresh faced cover girl" look. That way you can keep your original style in every way but stay a little more in keeping with whatever elaborate beauty rituals your fellow dancers observe.

I always lie about my age. And hell yeah, rock your look! Might want to consider enhancing yourself with a LITTLE makeup at least though. Just because, strip club lighting, don't wanna look washed out. Make em notice you girl, you can do it. <3

I would pick the best club in your area where girls make the most money and the management is the best. Be different.

If the club where your friend works doesn't have another girl that is your type try there and see how you like it. Like you said, have some customers all to yourself.
