Dizzy my biggest concern, why didnt i think to ask this first

so of course you guys know of me by now, im the one who cant finally bring myself to go thru with this due to a series of bullshit excuses like a burn, being on my period, the club being too far etc..

well, after concluding that my ass has been filling up time with new excuses everyday when it comes time to audition, i came up with one thing i should actually be concerned about.. my location. after reading and searching the FUCK out of san francisco, sunnyvale, how girls are traveling to reno n such,..cuz of high ass frisco stage fees.

my fear: starting BRAND NEW at a NICE topless club in frisco (gold club- i wish- or hustler- most probably) and not making the stage fee or there being way too much competition for me to stay afloat.. if stage fees and tip outs are around 180-250+, how the fuck am i gonna sell enough dances to MAKE anything without OWING the club money? i mean, i cant see the clubs out there being that busy this time of the year and i bet the dancers that have been at it for years have a hard time pulling in decent money now. after reading about the ridiculous ass fees in SF, im just all around discouraged now. especially since i was worried about not having enough money to get there everyday... -sigh=
i talked to Vonnie, which see was a great help..and i might consider sunnyvale, but i dont wanna get nude and topless is up my alley but there are no topless in sunnyvale and i cant see me spending $40 in gas everyday and making good $$$ just dancing in bikini.

also, Vonnie's breakdown of Little Darlings didnt seem that bad.. with the whole $180 stage fee with nine $20 dances and the rest of the money is mine..but damn, being new, i think im just worried that i can even MAKE 9 dances happen ..and ill end up owing the club money for the first few days which i CANT afford..and would defeat the whole purpose of trying to make money

is it really that slow/bad in SF right now? is it worth going and risking the money? is it already gonna be slow becuz of the holidays coming up? am i just overthinking and worrying about nothing? SF has the highest fees around so how is anyone still making money? bay area women, pleeeeaseee put ur 2 cents in... and i promise i wont make anymore threads ;[

This probably isn't helpful...but would you reconsider trying a nude club? I got into the business thinking it could be a problem too, but honestly...once you're half naked, you may as well take everything off. Your skin kind of becomes your uniform. It's all the same to me once I start working. I think you'd be surprised at how little you care after your first day. Maybe I'm wrong though. It helps that I work at a no-contact club, I guess.

I do think that's where the money is these days though. Sorry if that's unhelpful...

I work at a nude club... I've only ever worked nude (I'm not 21). Its really not as big a deal as I thought it would be. It's dark in clubs and it'S not like youre walking around on the floor nude all
    night.

I don't know what it's like in SF, but the girls I know working in topless clubs in LA pay like a $20 house fee and are happy if they make $200 before tip out. I would say try and find a less upscale club to start at. I work at a pretty upscale club now with insanely high fees, but I make enough $ to combat them. I started at a much slower and lower tier club and even though I wasn't at the "best" club I am so glad I started there and not where I am now, because I was able to learn everything I know and use now, and not go into work so intimidated I couldn't approach customers.

You can always audition and see how it goes, I've heard the two you mentioned are difficult to get hired at?

I worked in s.f. for many years don't worry about the high stage fees dances run about 60 bucks a song and most of the clubs only take if you make stay on broadway street if you want a clean club

i started at one of the diviest bars around. i had a similar fear of not making tip out, but the dive bar i started at was like a 17$ total tip out or something so i made it quickly. I chose the club based on which club was nicest to me on the phone when i called them... so i ended up at a whole in the wall with super nice bartenders and management, but everything else was god awful. Im glad i started at the little hellhole though, i was quickly a top earner and it made me feel confident. I think it would have been harder to start in a nice place. Although now that ive been out of the dives, there is no going back .

For your first time, i definitely wouldnt start at a place with ridiculous housefees around 200$. That can be difficult for a newbie to make, and if you dont it will be disheartening. try a couple of weeks at a shit hole with like 20$ of house fees until you kind of get the feel of it. Then you can go to the big places with more swagga. No shame in starting at a dive.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

    Its ALL mindset.

If you walk in there, full of fear, THINKING "I'm scared I won't make my housefees back" it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

On the other hand, if you walk in there confidently thinking, "I have a strategy to sell 5 lapdances per hour" you will more than likely sell 5 dances per hour.

Honestly... I've never worked anywhere where I couldn't make house-fee except on some super-fluke bad night where it was so slow they weren't even worried about it.
Look at it this way, clubs wouldn't be able to charge a $200 house fee and still have girls working there... if those girls weren't making more than $200 a night.
You just have to have confidence in yourself!

that's very true, I guess I'll have to look at it like that.. Someone MUST be making SOMEthing...I just get discouraged I'd I heard one of the other SF girls got hired at the clubs Im looking into and she said last week it wasn't even worth going but I'm running out of options...

I agree about full nude... I prefer full nude, as I forever in my life have been complimented on my vag lol.. guys always say it's pretty and I don't have a lot going on upstairs so for me it's kinda a selling point, but yeah, you're not comfortable you're not comfortable and you definitely should stay within your boundaries. I agree with everyone else that if no one could make the house fees, no one would be working there. At the very, very most, you might have one night here and there where you fall short somehow but seriously, the nights you do well will MORE than make up for it. I went back and forth with myself for a long time before I ever tried dancing too, don't worry, it's pretty normal to be scared of the unknown especially something as bold as stripping, but I guarantee once you try it you will probably be like, oh, why was I worried about this stuff (there will be tons of challenges you probably never thought to worry about too, but thats another story lol). Just be confident in yourself and give it a shot! Good luck!

Just a tip, as far as feeling broke as fuck... I know it's hard to get out of that mentality but I really believe in the law of attraction, and thinking "I'm broke as fuck, need money sooo bad" kinda sends a desperate, stressful vibe out into the universe which guys will pick up on too. Just try and relax and think, its my first few nights, no expectations, and try and believe that no matter how this goes you will be okay financially. That way you will just seem sexy and like you are having a good time and guys will pick up on that.

My biggest bad night weapon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ATTRACT-MEN-WORL...item518d6a8117
Shhh! It works. Don't tell the other girls. I PROMISE this works like no other.
Androsteone. Stay way from pheromones with alcahol and spray perfume before using or just wear this. Has doubled if not tripled my money in the past. It will also cause you to react more sexually so be careful.
    Good luck

You should call the club and ask them when the best time to come in for an audition is.

Btw, haven't tried VJ juice, but I do wear a pheromone spray along with regular perfume and it DOES work.

well, the thing about sf is all the clubs are on the same damn street. and its already an expensive trip down there so i was trying to kill 6 birds with one stone and hit them all on the same day if hustler doesnt hire me, ill go to one of the dives.... i was just wondering in general..am i more likely to get hired on a busy ass night where ill blend in, or in the day when its probably not full at all... blah, no one can probably answer that.. lol

what brand is ur spray? is it that anderstone one? or w/e the fk?

Mine is called Lure for Her, it contains androstatidienone which is probably a synthetic derivative. I bought it in a local sex shop for $18.95.

I mean this with love, lady.

You need to quit psyching yourself out, bite the bullet, and go check it out. Everyone's experience is different. Just GO.

And go in the beginning of the shift, before the busy time, so the manager has time to talk to you.

Hell, I just thought of this but you could try Condor too.
