Hi Nuclear Martini,
The smoke in the club can harm your immune system & make you more prone to various viruses(not to mention cancer/heart disease). Take a good anti-oxidant multi-vitamin(especially lots of vitamin C), eat a very healthful diet, and try to take a day off between shifts at work. These measures will allow your body to recuperate.
Dancing is hard, physical labor. If you're in a club that allows smoking and don't take good care of yourself, it'll take a real toll on your body.

i'm allergic to cigarette smoke so i'm prone to getting sick. I've found that taking extra vitamin c on the days i work and drinking loads of hot lemon water/herbal tea if i feel something coming on have helped me immensely.

peppermint tea. If you google "peppermint tea health benefits" there's a bunch of articles. I'm a skeptical type but it works great for me. If your lungs are inflamed the peppermint has a cooling feeling on them. I used to get sick constantly but i swear the tea/lemon water have made a difference--i haven't been sick since the beginning of the year. I just drink lots of cups when i feel like i might be getting sick and it's like if flushes it out of my system. Might just be me though.

I take Stinging Nettle antihistamine to keep my allergy to smoke under control. I suspect stress is causing your chronic illness. You may benefit from yoga or massage or anything else that would soothe your spirit!![]()

Adding a daily exercise regiment also helps keep you immunity up and keeps your body in an all around better condition. Yoga is good, or just taking a 30 minute walk everyday around the same time.
Also, when you feel yourself getting a little under the weather, things like Emergen-C and tylenol right before bed can really be a life saver the next day. Stock up on stuff so its on hand and you can take it the moment you feel it. I also eat a very easy to digest meal after work, like a soup.
