Default Tips on how to approach couples?

I am very new to this, only worked one complete night. Going back tonight though to work again. Any tips on how to approach and get couples to buy lapdances/VIP? I seem to get a little less talkative for some reason around girls so I need some help on how to sell to them.

Always pay more attention to the girl and talk directly to her first. Be fun and flirty and try to get her to relax and just have fun, some women really do want to be there, but feel funny or self concious about it. I focus almost all my attention on the girl, because the guy's fun is gonna come from seeing his girl get a dance more than getting a dance himself most of the time. Oh, and def don't "wanna dance" couples, you'll get a better response from most women if you spend a few minutes flirting before asking.
"I hear you calling and it's needles and pins. I wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name...You're poision. but I don't wanna break these chains.... I wanna love you but I'd better not touch."

I did a youtube video on this topic a few months ago.

One thing I have noticed recently (at least here in the Bible Belt) is that many couples want double dances. Not so much just the guy watching the girl for girl/girl action, but they are looking more for a 50/50 attention split. Previously I would do an 80/20 attention split between the girl and the guy...but I've started asking the guy how "into" it his lady is and if I should split the attention more evenly.

Go for the girl first. The guy will get a dance from you as long as she is down. You want to make her feel comfortable and not threatened, so compliment her and tell her how sexy she is. The guy is secondary, focus your sale around HER. When you're dancing, focus more on her until you can tell she's OK with you focusing on the guy. The guy will get off on you just dancing with his wife, so you don't really need to worry about him.

Basically... the woman has all the power, you need to seduce HER.

Talk to the woman first. Make eye contact and smile a lot -- less overtly sexual than you would to a male customer, but still flirty and full of promise. Break the ice by asking if they're married, dating, or engaged. Then tell the man that he's lucky to have such a cool girlfriend/wife/fiancee. Compliment the woman on something: her hair, her shoes, her perfume ("You smell sooo good!"), or her boobs (don't we all love to be told that we have great boobs?). If she's smiling back and seems cool, get a little touchy-feely -- if she has long hair, maybe touch a strand, or touch her arm or her knee.

If you're getting good feedback, ask if she'd like a dance while her man watches. This will probably lead to a mini-conference between the man and woman, unless they've talked about it beforehand and already know what they want. The woman might take you up on your offer, or she may want her man to get one while SHE watches (I personally love doing this with my hubby), or they may want one together.

Be sure you know the rules at your club about dancing for couples. Some clubs will let a person watch for free; others charge double the normal lap dance cost even if one person is just watching. Some clubs even will allow women in but won't allow them to receive lap dances.

Sometimes women with men can be more fun than just men alone. Generally women are in partying mode or they are uncomfortable. Women who are partying are obviously a lot easier. Make the champagne room seems like a party for them and bring them both back there. Women who are a little shy or nervous I talk to and try to relate to them a little-maybe we have similar hobbies, etc. If you make her comfortable the guy will be grateful and think its awesome you went out of your way to do so. Dont be intimidated. A lot of couples are really easy to talk to and usually the guy wont try anything while wifey is there-not a guarantee but it almost is
