I couldn't work there. Someone telling me how to do my job will not go over well. I can't work at places where waitresses spend too much time fraternizing with custys and hopping onstage. Nope not for me. I had a douchebag who comes in my club all the time and he tried to "help" me sell more dances by telling me what I need to do and he overhead me say something to a custy that he thought was 'wrong' (it was an inside joke between me and the custy) Lets just say you risk a severe tongue lashing if you try to comment on shit you know nothing about. I would politely tell her that you don't want her advice and you would appreciate it if she kept her opinions to herself. If you want her advice you'll ask.

I would just tell them "I appreciate your advice but please stop giving it to me and let me focus on my job" and then walk away and every single time they try to say something repeat it over again. Just one line is enough. I learned this in a psychology book about how to say no/get people to stop telling you something.
I would hate it too, but if you love the club and the other dancers, than just try to fix the problem with the staff.

haha yeah I love it when customers try to tell me how to do my job better. i should try what you guys said and tell them i don't want their advice instead of ignoring them like i have cuz it's just gotten worse

I think I would just tell them. I would tell them I have been dancing for awhile, and I am comfortable with my routines and my looks. They are just assuming you are new, which actually says something about their "advice". Seems like they would know better if they were actually experienced.
Don't be rude, be assertive, and be truthful - true to your self.
