    Question LSAT prep info

Has anyone taken or plan to take the LSAT? If so, I have some questions because I am planning to take it.

    1. What study guides/books do you suggest?
    2. What prep courses do you suggest??
    3. Any general study suggestions?
    4. What was your experience with the test?

I took it a couple years ago (in law school now). I lived in LA at the time, and there was a private company called Blueprint that was pretty good, so I took their review course. It was cheaper than the Kaplans and Testmasters (which I hear mixed reviews about... but there isn't much else out there).

The test sucks. Its the hardest thing you are gonna do besides take a state bar. You just gotta do it though. I took it twice because I wasn't happy with my score the first time. (mediation is good to calm you down).

It basically is a lot of studying and a lot of taking practice tests. You have to be motivated if you want to get a good score.

Hope this helped, feel free to ask me any questions! I'm a 3rd year now in law school, so I feel like i have it pretty much figured out

lizzybaby: Congrats, you're a L3 that seems so far away for me. Thank you so much for sharing because the courses are expensive. I know I need to take one though.

If you can afford it, take one of the LSAT classes. It was totally worth it for me. I took it like 6-7 years ago, and Princeton review wasn't too bad.
