Default Oldest dancer in your club?

I've been threatening to dance forever, but have kept putting it off.

Well, it's getting to the point that if I don't do this soon I will regret it.

I want to tone up a little more and probably wait until after the holidays, but the confidence about trying is waning.

I know it's still possible to start at 34, but what I would love to know is how old do you think some of the older dancers in your club are?

Even "estimates" would be appreciated as some women stay 29 forever.

From the little I know about you guys, I'm assuming these are decent clubs too. Yay!

Cool, cause I know I can work somewhere a touch less classy, but I still have hopes that it won't be the local sleazy place where when I got lost once and asked for directions two guys in the lot cornered me and told me how pretty I was. Only later did I even find out it was a "club".

    Thanks.

My other big fear is customers and dancers alike will focus on my age.

The oldest one I know of is 42, she has a great body and has taken pretty good care of her skin, you can sort of see her age in the dressing room lights but you can't tell at all in the club lights, she looks like she is in her early thirties. She always seems to do well.

It always seems to me that the older women usually have the fiercest bodies. I have seen a stripper who looked to be in her 50s--she was busted up, though (it was a dive) and shouldn't have been working. I have seen many, many beautiful women in their late 30s and 40s.

We have a couple of women in their forties and both do really, really well. They are polar opposites in appearance, too. One is blonde and French and teeny tiny with a large boob job, and the other is a black Cuban who is all natural and super curvy to the point where some would say she's almost too big but in my opinion it looks damn good on her. Both of them, to my knowledge, do quite well. I believe it is because they both have the same kind of sexy, confident, in your face kind of hustle to where they DEMAND to be treated well and DESERVE to be given money, but they do it in a way that is very graceful and not bitchy at all. They are also both very funny and great company and I love it when I get to sit with groups of men with them because there is never a dull moment. I strive to emulate them both, especially since I intend to dance for four more years at least and will be well into my thirties by the time I'm done.

I dance with a tiny grandma who has four kids and is married. She says she has been dancing for 18 years and is happily married. Don't know how old she is. On a good day she can pass for late twenties, but sometimes she looks tired. She has a lot of regulars and is a way better hustler than I am. She's from Guatamala.

I also work w/ an ex beauty contest winner (Miss San Fernando) who is really cute w/ a banging body and has a 15 year old daughter. She has had a tummy tuck. Her stomach looks fine and I never would have known until I saw the scars. They are knarly, but she hides them well w/ her costumes.

And then there is the recent AVN nominee who i work with, who is smoking hot (think a younger and fitter Pam Anderson). She's 37 and the only way you can tell is the slight lines under her eyes from tanning too much. (She has the total Calfornia blond look. Blue eyes and all). If not for those tiny lines, she looks 25 and deadly hot, sexy and really cute and the same time.

I have danced with women in their 50's.

In all reality I am making way more money in my thirties than I ever did in my twenties ~ as I have gotten older, my confidence has actually increased dramatically.

The oldest dancer I currently work with is 40, but I worked with a woman in the past who was 50 and she looked maybe late thirties tops. She made a shit ton of money.

However, being 30, I am usually the "oldest girl" for at least 2 of my shifts every week.

My closest dancer-friend at work is 36.

    Thanks for all the replies.

I know I had always heard of women over 30 being successful.

I guess I just want some reassurance that they aren't working the sleazy places. The one place I've heard about doesn't have bathroom stalls?

When I look at online ads, all the girls look 18-26 at the reputable places.

Lately I've been thinking they would tell me I'm too old first thing in the door. Especially having no experience.

    So, thanks for the hope.

There's a girl at my club who's in her late 30s or early 40s. She's had FIVE kids and still has the body of an 18 year old. She's tiny with small implants and the cutest little pocket booty. And she's an unstoppable hustler. That girl sells lapdances back to back.

Probably 40 or so. She doesn't look that great, though.

Just be sure you don't try to dance in a college town. As long as you're dancing in a club that isn't right next to a university, you'll be judged more on appearance than age. And if you look good and can pull your weight in the club, who cares how old you are?

Sorry to say the oldest dancers I know of at my club are 34 ad 31. But, the 31 year old is the second biggest earner for the whole club. I'd still say go for it!

I think everyone at my club is good-looking, but I have no idea how old the oldest person is. More girls are in their 30's than I had realized though. Having a beautiful body/face is much more relevant than your age.

So take the plunge, Kittygirl, and keep us posted.

It will be a little while (living too far from the city and my car blew up a few weeks ago).

But thanks guys. I'd really been letting it get me down thinking people would trip on it.

    I have hope again.

Still I love hearing about these women.

^ Does 60-odd year old J still work on the day shift Christy?

The oldest in my club is 45 or so. She's pretty gnarly. Agree with Charlie about the college town thing- Austin is totally a college town.
