    Default Juggling Regulars

How many regulars can you keep going at one time?

You know, one regular walks in, you think, "sweet! low-key night." Second regular walks in and it's visions of gucci and prada. Third walks in and the logistics kick in "OK, A doesn't require much attention, B has girl X, but if I leave him unattended, Y will swoop in an extra him away from me. C likes to talktalktalk . . . I say Hi to A while winking at B, unless X sees him then I plop down immediately . . ."

Then regular D walks in and you're into damage control. "Hmmm, B spends the least per visit, but is the most regular, C might be tapped out anyway . . ."

Anyway, what have been your juggling adventures?

    I had three in Atlanta.

C would come in around 8:30 and leave about 11pm. He usually came in three times a week. He always brought me books, scotch and treats. He was always good for an hour in VIP and always let me bring another girl of my choosing. He was 65, portly, never married, very sweet man- super lonely.

G I would call in as needed. He was good for all night so he was always my highest priority. He would pay me $20 every 20 minutes, buy drinks and we'd do a few hours in VIP. I actually liked him a LOT- he was super awesome and really fun. He was in his early 40s, an advertising dude, divorced and cranked up to 11 all the time like me. Sometimes, I wished I'd met him in real life- he would have made a badass friend.

E never did VIPs, but he did pay $40 a dance, and was good for drinks. He was very intelligent and very particular. I felt lucky E and G never came in on the same day, because E would get offended if I didn't say hello to him as soon as I noticed him. I usually made about $150-$200 off of him. There was about 3 of us whom he spent time with, often in a group. He was in his mid 40s, independently wealthy. Such a hater too. Haha. Oh to listent o him snark on the girls he hated- which was 75% of them.

    I miss them all greatly.

Yep.. with my regulars I tell them when I'm working, but say different days or different times. I only had one night where 3 came in at the same time. I chose the one who overall spends the most. (Not necessarily the most in one shot, just the most over time). I had a drink with the others and a quick dance and told them unfortunately I was already "booked" by someone I didn't know before they got there.

cool thread from a customers viewpoint. I too would love to here some stories. Surely someone on here has had a couple of big boys come in at the same time. I know it is stressful for me when i get two of my whales come in my store at the same time. I have to run back and forth between the two. They are very in need of the personal attention.

I thought I was the juggler but in reality I was juggled by three of the ladies. That was a while back. Pretty fun thinking about it now. They pillaged my wallet but what the hell

My curiosity has kicked in. Can you elaborate in detail how you were juggled?

I'm not the poster, but I guess I was juggled when I was a regular customer. I was in the club a few nights a week and would do more than a dance or two about half the time. If I was in there and planning to a dance and the girl had a less frequent regular stop in, I would offer to reschedule for the next time I saw her, which generally meant in a day or two. No big deal. I might not have been so accommodating if the club weren't so convenient or were I not there so often.

Part of how one is "juggled" depends on the type of customer you are, not just the dancer. When I visit my ATF I spend hours there but we don't do our dances until an hour or so before the end of her shift. We sit together for three or four hours but she excuses herself to spend time with other regulars knowing that I will keep myself entertained while she is away.

OTOH, last night I visited with another regular of mine who I have known for years. In her case I always go in at the start of her shift, we spend an hour or so chatting, I ma y buy her dinner, then we go to VIP. When we are done she pretty much moves on to other regulars and I go to another club or go home.

Every dancer has a different approach and a smart dancer knows her customers...she even knows how patient they will be!

So long as a dancer is honest and professional she'll usually be able to "juggle" regulars without much stress.

Exactly. And as long as the regular doesn't morph into a possessive pain in the neck he will remain among the juggled...

I'm a fairly easy going customer, who doesn't need to be attended to in any way. If the wait is too long, I'll move along. I'm not offended, but I also don't have to alter my schedule to accommodate their schedule. I'd have to schedule ahead of time before I could reasonable expect a higher priority. In general, I'd say I'm a medium priority to my favs and don't want to escalate my expenditures to move up the list!

I've had 2 regulars come in and sit next two each other. I took turns doing a couple of dances for one, then going to the other. By the end of the night they were friends and buying each other drinks. That's the only interesting juggling story I can remember.

Everyone else, first come first serve unless I know they will spend a shitload of money. Sometimes though, even big spenders have cheap nights, so its always a gamble.

I have no problem with being "juggled" per se; IMO any self-respecting customer should understand that their friendly neighborhood dancer should maximize her moneymaking opportunities. If that means she sticks around with me, cool. If it's a packed house and it seems like the potential for other big-spenders is there, I might suggest to her that she should go and take advantage.

(For me, this is where the advent of texting seems works out famously. If she realizes she's going to be a while with a party or a big spender, she can let me know and we can either plan to meet again later that night, or another time. It's on the down-low, and we can be freed up to do what we want with the rest of the night.)

At one club I used to frequent, my favorite dancer was very popular. So some times I'd have to wait an hour or more for my turn (no, I'm not a BIG spender). But when she did get to me, she always treated me extremely well, even if she did just spend 90 minutes in VIP with someone else. The dancer that manages to keep things happy and sexy despite working her ass off is going to be a big success. Even if I have to wait, I'm satisfied.

This brings up a surreal image of Godzilla the stripper literally standing in the club and juggling with 5 regulars at one time.

(I'm not sure if that counts as a 5 ball or a 10 ball cascade )

My ATF was the best customer juggler I have ever met. She would introduce me to her other regulars. One guy in particular I remember well. He was her best customer, and DAMN he was head over heels in love with her. A couple times she had us sit together while she was finishing up with a third customer. He would sit across the table from me FREAKING OUT that she wasn't sitting with him. It was really creepy and sad and funny all at once. She always danced for him before me, which was good, as I can't even imagine how weird he would get if he had to wait for me. I think it amused her to show me what she had to deal with. She retired, and I never saw him in the club again.

I was talking to my friend about juggling the other day, and how it's this sort of almost mathematical process. You're on stage and see three of your regulars, and it's almost like you come up with a regression analysis. Customer A - lots of money, but really grabby and whiny and expects you to drink. Customer B - decent amount of money, but really nice and always comes in to see you like clockwork. Customer C- a crapshoot. Somedays he does a champagne room and but some days he just buys a couple dances. Who do you pick? What order do you approach them in? It's a real-life econometrics problem!

I think the dancer should move to the bottom of the list the customer or customers least likely to be offended by being placed there.

When I was a regular customer, it was not uncommon for my dancer friends to ask me if I minded letting them work some other guy they knew. This never presented me a problem because I'm not delusional and because I lived in closer proximity to the club than any other customers. The girls were also used to seeing me in there and spending time with me on days when I was not interested in spending heavily on dances. To be honest, if I had driven a significant distance to see her and spent heavily every visit, I'd want to be accommodated though.

I would approach guy B first, say hello for a few minutes and then ask him of he is going to be there for a while of if he is in a hurry. If he is patient then go get guy A's money and have a drink or two with him-whatever it takes to make him spend. I would then go to guy B. Guy C would be last on my list.

OTH, this dancer I knew had two different regulars who (from time to time) would simultaneously pop in to see her on the way home from work. (She worked an afternoon shift). They were both besotted with her and both grudged the time she spend with the other.
