    Default Revenue Source

I'm curious about the revenue streams dancers count on. Could you gals offer me some insight as to your revenue distribution.
Let's say you have four types/sources of revenue.
    1.) Stage tips.
2.) Newbie/Strangers, fellows that you've never laid eyes on.
3.) Familiar faces/guys you've seen around, maybe danced for in the past.
4.) Regulars, guys that come into see you or otherwise guys you know will buy dances.

Just for round numbers let's say out of $1,000, what percentage comes from source 1-4.

I'm assuming the bulk of the income (unless it's a happening Friday/Saturday night) comes from Regulars, but I may be way wrong. If it is from regulars, what do you do when you're sitting with one regular and another regular shows up?

    Thanks

Far less serious topics are analyzed to death on here. This seems like a pretty legit question. I am sure it varys by club but I would be curious too.

I became a better patron, a better tipper, a better listener once I understood more about the business from the dancer's view point. I didn't know how much the house fee was, nor what percentage the DJ & bartender took, etc. until I hung around long enough to befriend some dancers, doormen and DJ's.

    Out of $1,000:

    Stage tips $50

    Newbie/Strangers $400

Familiar faces/guys you've seen around, maybe danced for in the past $350

    Regulars $200

Just an estimate, I've never been the type of girl who keeps a lot of long-term regulars.

lol, I don't make anything near $1000 a night! I'm gonna try this w/ $200, which is about my nightly average (definitely not very much compared to some of the girls on this site but about average for my club)

$5-$30 stage, the rest from any combination of the other 3. It really depends on the night. Basically I make almost all my $$ off of hustling for dances

Don't think there is a norm. Answers would likely vary on the type of dancer/entertainer she is, her style of hustle, and the type of club she's in. Not to mention the shift she's working.

Agree with JayATee, not sure why knowing this would effect your level of enjoyment or tipping behavior.

Flip it around and ask yourself how much you tip to those various catagories. That will be as ligitimate a response as any other you might get.
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.

Different answers for different situations. You want to know what a dancer appreciates? Tip her, buy dances and don't waste her time. It's not complicated.

    Out of $1,000:

    Stage tips $20

    Newbie/Strangers $880

Familiar faces/guys you've seen around, maybe danced for in the past $100

    Regulars $0

Keep in mind I work in Canada and stage tips are not the norm. To tip, guys actually put a 5$ bill in their mouth and lay down on the stage, which can happen a few times a night, but sometimes doesn't happen.

I don't have any regulars, they're too much work. From what I know, I make the same amount of $ as girls who have regulars, without having to deal with so much trouble. I'm lucky enough to work at a very busy club so that helps.

I'm a nerd when it comes to keeping track of my finances, like how much I paid in house fees/ lap dance fees/ VIP fees/ Tip outs etc. But I've never even considered tracking my income down to that kind of market research.

When I first started dancing out of $1000 earned about $800 was from stage. When I was finishing my career out of $1000 earned, probably it was closer to $300 from the stage.

Canada is very big and this isn't the norm across the country. Out west, tipping in that fashion will earn you an express flight from the club. If you're lucky, they may let you keep your teeth.

ETA: It's also the norm for stage dances to be paid in western Canada.

Really; isn't western Canada where all of the draft dodgers are? I would have thought they would be liberal.

I'm not really sure what this has to do with anything. When was the last time there was a draft? 1972? All of those guys are grandpas now, lol!

You're right, it's very different from East to West. I work in the Ottawa area (on the Québec side) and stage tips are accepted. It's the same thing in Toronto and Montreal.

    1) $200
    2) $300
    3) $200
    4) $300

I'd say this is average. I am all about the regular though. I much prefer if I can manage to get one reg to come in any pay for the whole night.
