Can you guys recommend some brands/products that are good to use while working? Anything from foundation to eyeshadow, tell me your favorites.

I personally love Stila (face makeup..foundation/powder), NARS (everything, but I especially love their bronzer), MAC (eye makeup/fake lashes), and Smashbox (face makeup/highlighter). However I've heard Forever Make up (the eye makeup) is great.

    Hope that helps...

I use basically all MAC products. It stays where I put and on with very few touch ups through out the night.

I use Tarte, Guerlain, Dior, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, and sometimes Urban Decay. So far Tarte has made the best mascara, with Guerlain a close second. My favorite eyeshadow palettes have come from Dior first and foremost, followed by Smashbox and Urban Decay, though the latter can be a little much if you don't watch out. Plus, they typically only come in singles, which kind of irritates me.

Oh, and I recently discovered the Amazing Concealer by Amazing Cosmetics. I've never seen a concealer work so incredibly well, especially since like half a dab will cover so much.

For foundation I use Make Up For Ever Face and Body or Estee Lauder Doublewear. Both stay on all night and look fab - the EL one is higher coverage while the MUFE one can be layered up to medium coverage.

For an eye makeup Base I use either a MAC paint pot or Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I hate having to worry about touch up's throughout the night other than lipgloss and an occasional blot.

I swear by 'Clinique' and 'Yves St. Laurent' for foundations, powders and blushers/bronzers. 'Maybelline', 'Chanel', 'Lancome' and 'Christian Dior' for eyeliners, mascara and lipliners. 'MAC', 'Chanel' and 'Estee Lauder' for eyeshadows - and all of them for lipsticks.

Nail polish I buy on colour, but 'OPI', 'USLU Airlines', 'Hot Topic' and 'MAC' all do fabulous ranges which don't chip or flake.

I used to use high end products like MAC all the time, but then I went to the drugstore for the heck of it and now I'm in love with the Revlon Colorstay line. It's AMAZING!! <3

I am in LOVE with the Palladio products, you can find them at Sally's Beauty Supply. Their natural make up works well with my sensitive skin.

    My favorite brands are:

NARS (blush, lipstick, lipstain, eyeshadow, highlighter, bronzer)
MAC (foundation, lipstick, lip liner, pigment)
Urban Decay (eyeshadows, lipglosses, eyeliner..both kohl and liquid)
    Smashbox (smudgepots, eyeshadows, primer)
Bare Escentuals (Buxom lipglosses and Buxom mascara)

..... I own a few items from other brands, but those make up a majority. I listed them in the order of "most items owned", with NARS topping the list, then I listed what products I love best from that brand.

and here are a few other favorite products not listed above

Benefit -erase paste (concealer) and Dr Feelgood (mattifying balm)
    Amazing Make Up - concealer
    OPI nailpolish

All of these ladies' recommendations are great, but i highly suggest you invest in makeup brushes, and eyeshadow/face primer, so you look your best!!

    For brushes, I like:
    • MAC 224: For blending your eyeshadows/crease work.
    • MAC 239: For applying all-over color.
    • MAC 266: For applying gel liner and shadow on top to set the liner.
    • MAC 109: For blush.
I don't wear face makeup (aside from blush), so I don't have any suggestions as far as face brushes, but your local MAC store/counter will help you with that!

    For Primers, I like:
    • Urban Decay Primer Potion (for eyes). Available at Sephora.
    • Smashbox Photo Finish, in Light (for the face).

    Hope this helps!!
