Default Worried about age of audience, during schoolies

Due to friends coming up for schoolies i have decided to stay away from the clubs as i know this is where some will head and i don't want it getting back home what i do. So since i still need money i well be doing private shows even though i still have not gotten comfortable with the girl on girl show. Though the spread leg work and toy isn't such a major now hmmm i'm getting side tracked. Just worried about the audience as they most probably well be schoolies and may be under 18, could i get in trouble for doing a show in front of then ?

i'm surprised that you're more concerned with people finding out what you do than being comfortable with what you do. i have no idea if you can get in trouble for performing simulated sex acts in front of a minor in Australia though. the chances of such a thing getting busted i would imagine are pretty remote however. but just be sure that the whole thing is worth it to you. good luck

i do not know what the legal age in australia is for adult entertainment. Here in the states the entertainers do not have to worry about the age of customers since it up to the club to verify age. But if the entertainment venue here is of a private nature where the entertainer is the boss and controls everthing(private party) she or he does have to verify that the customer is at least 18.

    Hi Tracey

Schoolies kills all adult entertainment work: clubs and private parties .... every damn year. Can't bloody wait for Byron to take it or somewhere else to be the new "hub"! They can have it. Wish it left the Gold Coast a long time ago.

So. yeah. considering there is NO MONEY TO BE MADE during Schoolies on the Gold Coast ... you have very little to worry about my dear.

This is from a local girl. There IS a reason why when I worked full time in the industry I would do my best to leave the Gold Coast for 2-3 weeks (late November/early December) every year.

Haha, there is nothing for schoolies in Byron and from living here I have heard its not very popular with the locals.

a schoolie is the term applied to someone that has just finished high school (age 17/1 that travels with other friends to party at a certain holiday destination (majority to the gold coast) to enjoy the sun and sand.. and alcohol and sex with other schoolies.

a toolie is someone past schoolie age who joins in on the festivities

    sort of like spring break?

The media are saying Byron is the new schoolies hub due to having more "action orientated" activities and that seems to be the increasing trend over the "party + pass out" usual schoolie celebrations.

None the less, avoid the Gold Coast late November - early December for stripper work.
