    Default Covering up a bruise

Whats the best thing to use to cover up a green bruise that looks like a map! LOL

My shin ran down the edge of my platinum stage during an unplanned headstand dismount (I thought I could clear the stage and land on the floor-I coudnt), now I have green 6 inch bruise down it.

My fake bake spray tan is developing and I thought this would cover the worsed of it but its not and I dont have foundation dark enough to match it.

    Um.....bronzer?

You are going to want to go to the drug store and buy the type of concealer that isn't the same color as the bruise, i know...lame as it sounds, they make green, yellow and reddish tinted concealers to counteract the color it is developing into. Apply that, then buy some Sally hansen leg makeup spray, finishing powder and it should somewhat max it. Something we used to do when i did legitimate theater.

They also make special makeup for scars and port wine stains, i'm not sure of the name but give it a go on google.

not a problem! its how i cover those "Gasp"!! shall i even say it, those horrible "yes i am a mommy and this is the road map of the united states" marks from being pregnant.

I love the sally hansens stuff, to bad it leaves my tub looking like a cesspool of brown toxic waste residue.

Hmm. I just spoke to someone who was talkin' about CoverFX and Dermablend body makeup. (I think it was Minnie, actually.) They are forms of body makeup which are thick enough to cover tattoos and scars, so why not bruises?

Dermablend is okay. I used to love it but then I discovered Physicians Formula... their duo sticks are awesome! You'd want the yellow/light or soft yellow/fair combo. Just layer it on and put some powder on top. You can also use a spray sealant like Ben Nye sells.
