I haven't been out to a regular night club and danced since I started stripping. I am curious to know about other dancers' experiences hitting the night club scene for the first time.

I've been dancing for about 3 years on and off, and this is kind of an interesting question. Some people say I dance like a stripper (I don't necessarily think this is true), its usually people who are aware that I'm a dancer and are haters.
I go through phases. I've been dancing 5 years on and off and sometimes I am all about nights out and party partyOther times I want to work as much as possible and if I do go out I try to keep it low key. Currently I am in the latter. I don't really dance at night clubs much anymore unless I'm hammered and even then it doesn't last long. I tell my friends I don't like going out dancing because I get paid for that. They know I'm being facetious but its true on some level hahahaha
You'll be annoyed when guys come up and try to talk to you for free. Heh. Conversely, you may find yourself scanning the room out of habit and trying to identify the best potential customers.
You may be dissapointed if the night club doesn't have a pole.
You'll likely tip the club staff really well, and be pleasently surprised at how cheap the drinks are.
Have fun!
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.

I don't club anymore. Stripping has really ruined any desire I have to go out to those places at all.
Sorry I missed church. I was too busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian.

Just don't get too drunk and break out in a split in the middle of a dance floor (I did this) LOL You'll probably criticize all the other civilian girls, on how they can't dance. Oh and don't dance to slow. Most important just have fun and let loose. You're not at work!!
I'm always amazed at how easy it is to hustle guys in a regular night club atmosphere. I've made money (only a little, like no more than $50) by chatting up unsuspecting men. Guys are willing to part with $5-10 to see a civilian woman show some cleveage, but a fully nude stripper has to "Work for this dollar!"
I don't go to clubs anymore because it is just too much like work. I prefer a nice quiet wine bar these days.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

I can't turn my flirt off. I don't have to buy a single drink all night and I club with my husband! Somehow the boys don't notice a guy lurking next to me. I have also seen a few customers and a lot of fellow dancers out clubbing, so be prepared for getting recognised. Even if you don't remember them, they will remember you.

i feel wierd trying to do club dancing-- i couldnt do it before, and i am not much better at it now that i can stripper dance. i am so used to moving slow and sexy, that i become self conscious that i am dancing like a stripper.
i have ZERO patience for guys trying to immediately grind on me on the dance floor now.
i find the civillian girls who try desperately to be sexy especially hilarious now. i think my favorite is when a night club has like a stage ish area, sometimes with a decorative pole, for girls to dance on and like 3 pudgy girls get on it and try to do like a sexy 3-way girl-girl-on-girl dance.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

i don't go out much these days, i'm burnt out on the nite club environment. But back when i did i'd get aggravated over guys hitting on me nonstop. The worst is when people recognize you from work, you can't shake them dudes off with a stick. Part of me would want to scream "LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!!" but the other part would still view them as "potential income-be nice". Never had to pay for drinks though.
I still go to swingers clubs wit guys I am dating or my husband last holloween I got drunk and wipped off my top the girls wanted to play with me but I am strickly a guys gal and I won the best costume prize every guy wanted to dance with me but that annoyed my date so I declined :-(( oh well next time with a more open adventrous guy. other than that no clubing you can not do that stuff there and I love flirting and shocking.also the freedom to be wild.
small and cute
I have been dancing on and off for about 6 years. I went into a bar/night club with my friend after work one time and I freaked out a little. I felt like I was still at work, but with more clothes on! It was strange. Guys would come up to us and start hitting on us, and would be thinking to myself...i got better game then he does! I still like going out ...its just that I need to decompress from work a little before I go out.
