Default I dont need a BA

my measurements are 40DDD-36-43. I'm a sive 16 or 14. I want / need a tummy tuck. My baby was huge and I'm going to great lengths to cover it up. The other day 1 of the guest in my chatroom started making fun of me. Its no big deal because I had like 10 other people in my room jump him lol. Everybody can look at me and see that I'm a beautiful girl who had a bad pregnacy (carrying anyway). I want a tummy tuck sooo bad but don't want to waste a doctor's time until I feel I know everything I need to and what exactly I want done. 1) I'm a black girl and need a doctor that won't scare me too bad! 2) I think my stomach is helping me hold up the weight of my breast lmao and if I get a tummy tuck it might mean me having to go back for a reduction. 3) I'm still fairly young if I have another baby will I have to do it again. Any recommendations?

Whew girl, that's a lot of boobs! Have you thought about just hitting the gym for your tummy issues, or is it more of a loose skin problem than a toning problem?

If you have another baby, there is no way to tell if your boobs will balloon up again. That's hugely genetic. But I would wager on it happening.

    Congratulations on your baby.

Oh on another note- what does it have to do with being black that the doctor would be scary? I'm a white girl studying to be a doctor, and wont treat any of patients differently.

Thank you . Honestly I do need to hit the gym but due to the drasticiness of my disportions I would still require a doctor (under bellybotton is just skin). Lol I didn't mean scare I meant scar. We're more prone to scarring. When I was researching plastic surgons (who are actually plastic surgons and not 0B/GYNs possing) it said look for a doctor who specializes in ethnic cosmetic sugery. I want to get the ball rolling on this. I want the best. I know the prices range from $3600 to $4000. Been looking online at before and after pics and am NOT happy with docs in the area.

Picking out a good plastic surgeon is half the battle. It's good that you're doing your research on this and not just jumping in.

Spend a lot of time reading reviews of doctors - if you want the best you may have to travel (which costs more). Most big time specialist plastic surgeons have deals for people who travel in out of state/country (packages will include things like a hotel with a nurse on call, stuff like that).

Good luck hunting, you'll find someone! Do your research and good luck!

I agree with 4ever, definitely do your research.

As far as the scars are concerned, one of my black friends keloids pretty bad, do you know if your scars keloid? Did you have a c-section, etc?

I didn't have a c-section but I did rip my naval ring years ago so I know/believe I won't get keloids but still want to talk to a doctor about it.

And leaves one hell of a scar. No doubt, some really need them, but I think many overlook just how big the scar is. For example:

Well, it's a pretty easy scar to cover up as a stripper. Garter belts!

You would know better then I, but I have the feeling it's one of those "easier said then done" type things. Just want people to know what they are getting into. "Tummy tuck" sounds like such a small harmless thing, but having seen those scars in person, they are big and long. For those who don't like pain, I have been told they heal time and pain is also bad, but that probably varies someone person to person. Unless the person really had a lot of extra skin from say losing a massive amount of weight (and docs make you wait at least a year after the weight loss because much of the skin will firm up...) I wouldn't do it personally or recommend it. It's not minor surgery the harmless sounding name "tummy tuck" would imply.

Here is someone I worked with some years ago. She had to have a tummy tuck after losing all that weight, but it was a hell of a scar and she reported it hurt like a bitch:

Gosh! I'm really sensitive about talking about my stomach but here goes for advice purposes. Ok so I graduated high school at 135 5'7 years ago (how many is none of your concern) ok ok earlier this decade. Anyway I was really muscular I looked like a size 3 but was a 8. Well I've always been busty I'd say back then I was a 30 something D. Well I wanted some curves and thought I had to gain weight to do it. I gained 15 pounds and loved it! Too bad I developed a eating while bored and / or stressed habit. Then I got pregnant 4 times 2 early on miscarriages and 2 kids. I love working out. I'm big but don't have any flab except in my stomach area. I've tryied dieting but my weight never seems to change even when I lose 2 dress sizes. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to shell out that much $$ or have any more scars but it's making me depressed

Do the best you can, accept who you are. I know, way easier said then done, but it's a worthy goal, and in truth, all you can do. Don't beat yourself up over dress size, it's only a number. There are some who really need the tummy tuck, but you don't sound like one of them, but that's based on what you have said and no pics. If you are lean enough to really benefit from it, what about some spot lypo? Is it extra skin or more like flubber under the skin? I would make an app with a good plastic surgeon and see what his/her opinion.

Go to a good doctor in Brazil. Way cheaper, more experienced.

I danced with an AA girl who has a tummy tuck and didnt have bad scars at all! She had a boob job and you couldnt even see the scar from that. I think it really has to do with your body.

Also - when you have a tummy tuck they will lace up your muscles - they typically dont want to do them until youre done having children because when you stretch with baby you can rip the muscles...

My advice (since I caught the part about having another baby) is wait until you are all done having children... save your money and if you want the surgery get it - if you need/want a breast reduction plan for that at the same time.

You may ant to search around and get on a plastic surgery forum and that way you can talk to girls that have had a tummy tuck and see how it worked out for them.
