Lightbulb Learning from the top hustlers

There's this girl that I know who is always in the champagne room. She dresses very conservatively, hardly wears any makeup. From what I've noticed, she always gets the hookups from the floor guys and will not approach anyone unless they have been recommended by them.

One time, when I was with a customer, she tried to help me hustle by saying the VIP had unlimited dances and wasn't timed like the floor. (This is good for discouraging extras.) The customers she gets always seem rather gentlemanly.

She's pretty with a ordinary shape. She has a low seductive voice and there's some mystique about her.

I know getting the hookups is one of the most important things. The floor guys only give their top clients to the girls that can close the sale. (In their opinion, I'm a second tier girl.) I should really try and be friends with her and learn a few things or two.

Has anyone 'shadowed' a top hustler before? What have you learned from them?

I've always been a top hustler so I don't really shadow anyone. When I see another girl that is good at what she does, I watch how she moves and try to play it into what I do.

I've never done the whole recommendation thing. I think our bouncers are just stupid because they always lead me to customers that don't have thousands of dollars to spend. I always find those guys myself. Believe it or not, there is a way to profile customers.

I used to notice what the top earners were doing and try to mimic them slightly, but in my own style. When I first started dancing I tried to be EXACTLY like one of the girls and it was so out of character and I felt like a fool.

I sometimes get recommendations from the bouncers to go to certain tables but it is so hit and miss. I prefer to do it on my own (and then I don't have to tip out an extra finders fee to them). Don't get me wrong, if someone helps me out I will take care of them as well.

You can tip the bouncers extra and all....but in all reality I think it is more efficient to just do your own thing and find the big spenders on your own. You can save money that way as well as wasted time. You will be able to tell after a while....and it isn't always the guy in the great suit.

It all comes down to finding what works and for whom.

You will not get a lot of hustlers wanting to share the 'wealth' with you and cut into their own earnings. I think it is better to befriend ONE, maybe TWO hosts/bouncers and tip them pre-emptively (before they even refer business your way).

Chat one up every now and again over the course of a few shifts and then slowly start padding their pockets. Not even much at first, but once you start dangling the proverbial carrot, you will have them keep you in mind if there is the hint of you increasing their tip.

This is unfortunately very true. Many of my longtime co-workers/"friends" have actually b-tched me out for starting SGR because they think it's going to create more competition. In reality, it's that scarcity mindset that is actually holding them back!

I've worked one on one with DancerWealth students in the club real-time and most have said it was extremely effective. I can't go to every student's club, but I have set up a way for them to come to me. Implementing and perfecting sales skills is the aim of the one week DancerWealth SuperStripper Bootcamp.

Watch what hustlers do and do what they do.

I usually scope out the girls who are always busy but I know they under cut. I do what they do but double the price.

I don't understand criticism like this. Having more trained dancers around who behave with professionalism makes us all look better.

I agree with Nikka so much on this. We are all professionals and need to act as such!

As far as the top hustlers, be-friend them because the positive energy WILL rub off on you and that is what makes the difference in the club atmosphere. Guys want to know and can tell if you are truly into what you are doing or not and they want dances from the girl who likes her job and does it well.

As for telling guys certain things you really need to read your customer(s) and ask questions to get him to tell you what he is looking for so you can be the one to give it to him. A simple " What brings you in here tonight?" Really can help with this as can " So tell me, what do you enjoy about our club?"

Also, know that you are the best!! Confidence is a total turn on!

I don't ever become friends with the top hustlers, because that's beside the point--why be friends with someone you just want info from? Wayyy too much effort for information you can get by just watching them. From the sounds of your post, you have already been watching the top earner--so keep at it! But don't blantantly imitate them--give what they do your own twist, because blantant rip offs are a) easy to spot, b) going to start drama and c) pointless, since there is already one girl there like that who obviously already has the good customers.

Just take the IDEAS aways from what she's doing and make them your own. Get to know your customer base, what they like, what they don't like, and STAY AT THE SAME CLUB so you can build up some regulars. Once you have mid-range regulars, and are making consistant money, the bouncers will get to know who you are, since you will consistantly be doing well, and at that point, it is of the UPMOST importance to get in good with them, and possibly the other top girl, although don't be friendly--just cool enough that, once she knows you mean BUSINESS and that you intend on making money too, she won't flip out and try to kill your game, because that can happen, esp with girls that like being the top earner and who aren't ok with other girls getting up there too.

I am a top earner in my club right now, and I was in my old club FOR SURE, the one I worked at before I moved to LA. It takes TIME, no matter how good a hustler you are, to reach the top, because it is a "who do you know" game, to a degree. But the more you do well CONSISTANTLY, even if it is only $300-400 a night, the more you will catch the bouncers attention and the more comfortable they will be with hooking you up with "good" customers. They just want to make sure the customer is getting a good girl, one that can provide and give good dances and one who CAN close the sale, because it's counter intuitive to hook a GREAT customer up with an average girl--not saying you are, but that's how you said they view you (or second tier).

My advice is go in ALL THE TIME until your earnings start to level out and you get regulars, and make regluar money. Show the bouncers you CAN be trusted with the big spenders. After that, just make sure you provide a good product, that you know how to SELL (take courses, read up ect) and just show yourself to be a hardworking, dedicated, GOOD seller who makes the customers happy and you should be on your way to being on top.

This will probably take a year though. I find that at about 6mnts I get a good regular client base, by 8mnths I'm on top, in with everyone, making $1000+ a night (depending on club). I've been netting about $4000/week at my club and let me just say I averaged about $800 or less a week for probably 7 months. You just gotta stick with it, get to know the clients, get to know the top girls, the game, the bouncers, ect. You must MUST pay attention to which girls come in each night and what type of hustle each one has, and how their hustle interacts with yours and how to beat them at their hustle and get the guy before or better than they can, ect.

It IS HARD WORK and lots of man hours at the job, but you CAN be top girl, just give it time and patience and hard work.

Because then you can share ideas and work together. Synergy will always produce greater results than independence.
