Default Anyone know a good how-to book to get me started?

I'm looking for a good book that covers a little bit of everything in the stripping world. I did a search on amazon.com and there seems to be a TON of books on stripping so I'm not sure where to start. Anyone know of a good book that not only gives some dancing tips, but also has tips for the business end of things? Thanks for any input!!

There's a stripper bible written by this blond bombshell with big tits. I forget her name. Maybe google "exotic dancer bible."

I've never heard of one... everything seems more geared towards the average housewife.

    However there is www.stripandgrowrich.com

Yes I have visited that site before, but I will have to again. It's very informative! I suppose there's so much info on the net that it's unnecessary to get a book... hmmm the world we live in

You don't need to read a book. You just need to go audition and work.

I realize you're asking for a book on the basics of "stripping," but what sort of information are you looking for? Are there any specifics? There's so much information and experience here, it's incredible.

But, I guess if you really think you need a "book," you can check here and see if there's anything that piques your interest.

I honestly think your best bet is to stick around here and read some or maybe even ALL of the threads in the Newbie Area, and make posts with your questions there.

There are also a number of blogs and websites which cover the world of exotic dance from both the club, and private party dancing perspectives. I'm quite certain a simple Google Internet search can point you in the right direction.

Get the book Superflirt! It's not really a "How to be a Stripper" book, but it does WONDERS for teaching you how to talk to men in the club. Body language is SO important, and this book kicks ASS. I read it, and dear god. It's done amazing things for me - money and confidence both.

You'll also find a TON of great information here. This website has done more for me than any book I could read.
"The mood is important. You can't get a lady with force.
...sweet things alone are not enough. Seduce me with more fire."

Yes I suppose personal experience will be the best way to learn. I've just always felt the need to be super prepared for everything, but I guess sometimes you've just got to learn on the job. I will definitely check out the superflirt book however, sounds like a good skill to learn. I do love this site, I will probably read every thread there is in the newbie section, although I'm probably stressing myself out by trying to be over prepared. I'm sure it's going to come more easily to me than I'm expecting. Thanks, everyone!
