    Sad Blisters

I have these sore blisters on the right side of my vulva (My right from looking down). I know for a fact it's not an STD, the only person I've ever slept with is my bf, and he had an STD test and he's clean. I don't wear panties so that might have caused a yeast infection?? I know yeast infections can cause blisters. I dunno.

Also when we have sex, sometimes I'm not wet and he forces himself inside me while it's dry, which could have caused blisters too?

I just feel worried because I have a doctors appointment and I don't want to hear some scary news. What do you all think it could be?

You need the doctor to look at it. Never ask the general public for health or legal advice.

Sometimes things look the same but aren't. It could be sooo many different things.

It could be a few things. I would look online at pictures while waiting for a doctors appointment. Hows is your boyfriend reacting about this? Was it at that time you noticed it that he told you he was clean? Have you ever seen anything like it on him?

I've never seen anything on him. My bf just told me fix it asap because it's hurting our sex life, it's really sore when there's friction against it. It's only just happened recently. Like a day or 2 ago :S I shaved their like crazy, so it could just be from shaving repetitively. (Hope so). This is the first time something like this has happened.

I only have 3 'blisters', all in the same spot, close together. They don't really hurt too bad or anything, just sore.

When you go in, have them test your blood, that way you know 100% for sure.

The fact that you say he 'forces himself inside' while you're not wet, and says 'hurry and fix it it's ruining the sex' is making me worry about more than your blister. Be safe!

I hate to say it, but there is a heavy chance it could be herpes. Our entire bodies are covered in the herpes simplex virus and breakouts can happen anywhere at any time without having previous contact with an infected individual.

I know that when I get cold sores on my lip, they are often caused by quick and sudden trauma like a good bop on my mouth. Other times they are caused by stress or illness.

I would suggest a biopsy of the affected area as well as a blood test - either could test negative because antibodies aren't present at the time of the checkup.

Besides that, I would suggest taking an over-the-counter vitamin called L-Lysine. You can get it practically anywhere for like $10 and it does great things for skin inflammations, and it's great for your hair and nails anyway. I know that if I have a rash or even a cold sore, I'll take L-Lysine and they'll be gone in a couple days.

^ I'll pick some up the L-Lysine up, sounds useful and beneficial.

Urgh, I got me a doctor's appointment on the 5th of January. I hope it's gone by that time so I can just stop thinking about it.. and I'm making my bf get another STD test too. Sigh~

I recently started getting cold sores so I've done a lot of internet surfing on herpes. This is what I learned from months of internet research: If you have your bf get another STD, make sure he specifies he wants a blood test to check for the herpes virus. I get tested before and after every new partner (even with condoms) because I'm super paranoid and I have never been tested for herpes. It's often not included in standard STD testing. Also, a blood test is the only way to determine if a person has herpes when sores are not present, but it's good to know that there can be false positives or false negatives too (or something like that... that part sorta confused me. I think it has to do with what Autumn Lily was talking about with antibodies). If a person is a carrier of herpes, he may transmit it to other partners and never know it because as a carrier, he is likely to never have an outbreak.

I have a very sensitive vagina and get irritated from soaps and scents and basically anything new or foreign. So maybe it is irritation of some sort.

My only other thought is maybe a yeast infection. I live in a very hot and humid climate and worked in a lab this summer where I had to wear long parts all day every day. Very restricting. Beware: TMI from here on out!!!! Sorry!!!! I developed a yeast infection that spread nearly to my thighs and included blisters filled with puss looking stuff, much like acne.

Of course, I'm not a doctor and am simply sharing my thoughts and experiences. Hang in there! Good luck!

Thanks, This actually made me feel a bit better. I'm hoping it's just some kind of irritation or a yeast infection and nothing more!

That actually happened to me once, when I was a little girl - like 9. It ended up being several in-growns in the same area that got infected and caused a group of blisters. Nothing sex or even shaving related. I remember it well becasue I started my period a few weeks later and I was all freaked out over the concept of "womanhood"....fucking cramps and blood and blisters everywhere traumatized me...

Okay, sorry, bit off topic. But yeah, it can be something harmless, and if your man is faithful and you're both clean it probably is. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst, but in the mean time try not to stress out about it.

Your man kinda sounds like an ass BTW, like he's more concerned about sex than of you. I hope that's not the case.

    Take care!

Yeah he can be a little 'out there' but he's not so bad. In all honesty, we're both very asshole-ish to each other when it comes for sex. Lol. ^^D

I just looked at it this morning ( Just woke up, bout to head to school ), and they've already swollen down a lot less and they're dimenishing in size. :| I honestly think I'm just trippin' over ingrown hairs.

    But we'll see!

I bet it's just an ingrown hair or a group of pimples. But if it hurts when he's entering and when you guys are doing it and you mean the inside hurts it could be herpes.

If it is, you'll be ok. People get herpes all over their bodies, my friend has it on his face near his temple from wrestling. Shit happens!

Good luck, I'd be going crazy if I had to wait til Jan.5. You could always just go to planned parenthood or the hospital or something to find out right away.
