Hey ladies...well I've been back in Ohio now for a few months. I haven't danced at a club since leaving Wisconsin. (I've been mainly doing private parties) Well, I've decided that since Christmas is next week (Still haven't done my holiday shopping) and my birthday is coming up in a few weeks, I want to make a little bit of money...and to start saving up for school. so I went to the club that I used to work at last year and was excited to see that some of the same girls that I used to work with are still there.
After sitting down and talking to the girls, the owner came out and clearly remembered who I was. We had small talk, as she asked me how I've been and what I'm now up to. After talking, I told her that I would like to come back and work. Now when I first started at this club, I didn't have to audition. Nobody did actually. A girl could just come in the club, ask if she can work, hand over her ID, and she could start that night or the following day.
So I was expecting the owner to tell me that I could start tonight if I wanted to...but I was wrong. She told me that I had to audition, even though I've worked there (I was there about 6 months) and she remembered me...and then she told me that it's no guarantee that I would actually get re-hired. That kinda surprised me because once again, she knew who I was. Nothing much has changed about me appearance wise except that I've gained about 3 lbs and I now have two tattoos on my back and my hair is a different color.
She told me that if I wanted to come back tonite and audition I could. When I asked the girls about this, they said that the rules changed and now every girl that has worked for the club in the past has to audition if they want to get re-hired. Is it just me or is this really unnecessary? I could see if the club was under new management and there were totally new people working there. But it's not...it's the same owner, same bartenders, and some of the same girls...I mean, is it really necessary to go through that???
