    Default The age question

I always get asked my age and I really don't know how to tackle it. I'm in my mid 40's and rock for a middle aged mum. Especially since I haven't had any cosmetic procedures, not even botox (but i'm seriously thinking about it at the moment)
Outside the club I get guessed at being mid-30's. I've tried going with this as my age but I always wonder if they believe me or are thinking what a crock of poo. I tend to tell them I'm 40 because I'm really proud of how good i look. I usually get a really shocked reaction and they vary with the response:
    disbelief -"you're lying",
    positive -"wow fantastic"
or nasty "you're a bit too old for this don't you think?"
I've also tried the funny line - "I'm 77, plastic surgery does wonders these days" don't you think" but I get the "no really how old are you?" and occasionally "really? wow" which actually leaves me feeling terrible.
What do you think is the best approach?

I lie about my age to customers and coworkers. I tell customers an age and stick with that # so I won't forget. The only person that knows my real age is the manager that hired me. He thought I was 9 years younger. I don't think it's any one's business and get annoyed by the responses.

I lie about it since no one believes me when I tell them the truth about it anyways.

I would lie about it if you're more comfortable with that than the truth. if people are assuming you're that age OTC I doubt anyone seeing you in the dark lights of an SC is going to think you're lying.

But honestly that's none of their business and how rude of them for
asking. I hate when customers ask my age. They would never ask a woman OTC that, why do they think because we're strippers they're entitled to personal information? I would say "dont you know it's rude to ask a lady her age?" in a joking tone with a smile and change the subject.

Fantastic! That has helped. I always thought it was pretty rude. Your comments have helped me to come up with a response, I'm going to try pointing out how rude they are and being sweet about it at the same time- "Most ladies get offended at that question, I'm no different"

I usually tell the other girls Im 23 (im 27) cos Im sick of hearing "27!!! Wow you look so good for your age" from an 18 year old.
23 is closer in age, so they dont comment. When customers guess they pick me as around 20.
I dont really get asked that often, though.

I almost never tell my age and usually use the same line every time I ask. that line being "OLD ENOUGH TO DRINK!" They usually laugh and offer me a cocktail, thinking it was a hint and not a put off! I'm 28 but they never believe me, regardless if I tell them the truth or not...

When I'm cocktailing I always get asked if I'm old enough to work there, so I lie, say yes, and tell them I'm 18. I'm nearly 23 but no one believes me either, plus it is annoying to go on about it when I have other things to do. It sounds bad, but I usually get the molester types who act disappointed if I tell them my real age anyway. One even told me they were waiting for me to walk over all night, but when I told them I was 22 they said "Oh too old we thought you were 17". That would be illegal for me to even work there. WTF.

Im 23 but i get away with being 19, depends on the customer, i usually say ''how old do you think i am?'' and then guage their response as to what i say. Some men just like to know so they can justify it to themselves, i get a lot of ''you're younger than my daughter'' comments, i like to respond with ''yeah i kno, she's over there in the pink g-string...''

Definetly some kind of ''rude to ask a lady her age'' response is good,
    ''I love fake boobs''
''They're not fake! I grew them myself!''

I always respond with '' a gentleman doesn't ask, and a lady never tells'' with a smile.

99% of the time, I get a laugh, and a ''sorry, that was rude of me''.
The other 1 precent says ''i'm not a gentleman'' to which I reply, ''then your not worth my time'' as I walk away.

Ask his first and follow up with your reply to match.

    Example

    I'm 35

    You I'm 30

I usually say 27-32 ( I'm 25) to the older men and (21-25) to the younger crowd.

I do like the gentlemen don't ask and a lady never tells, it's a nice way to get a feeling for who your client is and what he is looking for.

Some customers just don't realize how rude they are to ask this question. I'm 36 and every day I'm asked how old I am. I tell them the truth. Most don't believe me. One time I was drinking at the bar and a young dancer (22) came up to me and said "hon, you're gonna get in trouble, you gotta be 21 to drink!" I looked her square in the eye and said "I'm old enough to be your mom, I'm 36". That shut her up.

What is WORSE is the customers that have actually asked me how much I weigh!!!!! I scold them for being incredibly rude. I never answer this question right away. They try to say "no, you look really good, just wondering." So I ask them how much they weigh and they never tell me. One customer said "hmm, you're looking good, I'm guessing 115?" I gave him a withering look and said "nice try, I'm 107" and walked away. He came sputtering after me apologizing and I ignored him for the rest of the night. Honestly. If you're guessing a woman's weight, at least try to err on the light side. Same as age, always guess younger. There was an old fucker in the club a few months back that wanted me to guess his age. I was trying to be POLITE and guessed 48, because he looked like he was 60. He pouted and said he had just turned 42. See how they like it? Age and weight numbers should be kept a secret on both sides.

theres a few dancers ive thought where just as young as me and they have turned out to be in thier 30's, take it as a compliment, i would.

as for the weight thing, if someone asked me my weight ide be offeneded, as if they where tryin to say im big, i would just ask "why? not skinny enough for ya?" i would say personally i have a bit to hold onto, im 5ft2" and weigh 8 1/2 stone, i have curves, which i love but can sumtime be paranoid about my pouch on my tummy, so a question like this would nag at me lol.

I'll be 38 next month and for some reason the default age out of the mouths of many customers is 23. If they all said 28 or 33 then fine. But the number is 23.

From now on when guys ask my age because I'm tired of the question I just ask politely "does it really matter? If you think I'm hot then I'm hot. End of story."

    How old is too old?

Amazingly, she has been doing this for 25 years. Even more amazingly, she claimed that her popularity did not dwindle as she aged. And perhaps most amazingly, she has seven children and ten grandchildren.
But this one tops it all: she said all her grandchildren are really proud of her!

This isn't a situation where there is one right answer. The BEST approach is the one that is going to work on that particular customer.

Ask probing questions during the conversation to get a feel for what he likes. If you get the feeling that he's into MILFs, then be that MILF.

I just got back from a 9 hour sales training seminar. It really is soooo simple: ask him what he likes and then BE that person.

We get so caught up in worrying about "what most guys want." Don't worry about "most", be focus on BEing what that one lonely guy with a credit card needs at that moment.

Exactly we create the fantasy he wants to spend time and money on! Be that fantasy that he can trust and I guarantee your age will be a small factor in a HUGE sale!
