Default "What do you do for fun?"

I hate getting asked this question so much. Truth is, I don't go out that much or do anything that even sounds interesting so I can't come up with a good response to this yet. I can't say I like to go out to bars/clubs or anything bc then they ask me where and I'm not familiar with any of them. Any other seemingly "boring" ladies out there? How do you answer this?

    Snowboarding, yoga, shopping ...
    Sewing...
Trying to impress upon a custie that I'm a well-rounded stripper, hence garnering interest, I've said those things and I leave out school. Sounds too smart/boring.

Lol, I hate that question too! I usually say that I go to house parties with friends when I'm not working weekends. But I'd like more interesting suggestions as well.

I'd be careful who you say "I like to party" or "I go to parties" to. I haven't started stripping yet but my sister was one and I do hang out around the clubs a lot, and if a customer ever asks you if you party or you say you party, then that translates to "I like to do hard drugs/extras OTC" to some guys.

I know..how annoying! Why do they even care? I usually say something lame as well like "I donno, hang out with my friends. Take my dog to the park." I just had a thought. What about averting the question by making a joke...

"I like to masturbate with fruit and veggies"
"I give free blow jobs to homeless people since they can't afford to pay hookers"
"I paint pictures of huge cocks"
"I swim naked in my neighbours pool"
"I smoke bongs and watch re-runs of saved by the bell"

Then before they respond.. "what do you do?" Hopefully them talking about themselves and the distraction of your bizarre answer will make you look less like a grandma. LOL

I would like to say things like "Marshal arts and hand to hand combat. How about you?"

It is a testosterone filled subject, and it generally gets guys talking. I'd also bring up subjects like sports, cars, computers and tech, and guns. I don't know much about any of those things, but it makes your customer feel smart to be able to explain things to the doe-eyed hottie sitting next to him. Once his ego has been properly inflated, then it is easier to sell him a dance.

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

i love when guys ask me if i have another job, i'm like are you kidding me? why would i?

I tell them I go to the nice and quiet, no music playing library for fun, which I do.

I second the martial arts idea! I'm going to start training after the holidays and I think this will be a great conversation opener.

Lol, I like these a lot. Never actually thought to make a joke out of it, but this will definitely work for the younger guys.

That's my standard response when guys ask if I smoke. I'm like "No, unless it's a bong". Only for the younger ones obviously. It usually gets a laugh.

theres a similar thread to the question 'what time u get off/what do u do when finish'

i dnno who wrote these so i cant give credit for, but theyre great:

'i have wild orgies with the men who spent the most in a week'

'nothing, the manager rounds us all up and locks us in the dressing room where we have all night long pillow fights in lingerie till our next hift, we dont have time for anything else'

i dont much like this question coz its usually followed by 'we should hang out sometime' or 'come home\ to a party with me with u finish' etc

aso depends if ur talking to a dickhead or an educated guy with money whom youd try to impress with your many faces

I've been using massive fake tanner and my palms are a little orange so I showed them to someone and told them, "Obviously I like to give hand jobs to Ompa Lompa's in my spare time." I've also pointed to my friends in the club and said, "Her. If we all go back to champagne now and you get her tipsy she'll go home with me tonight. Either way you get to watch me try to seduce her. Want me to bring her over?".

I always said "I DONT have fun. Im always here. Work work work. It tough bein an independent woman!" That usually got me off that topic.
Truth was, I never did have much fun in my dancing days. Work all night, sleep all day. Those were the days!

I turn around and tell them I don't have a lot of time for fun. I'm in law school and I tell them that. Generally that shuts them up and moves them onto a new topic.

Barring that, I am totally honest with them and tell them I read for fun. I hang out with friends, etc.

Never had a guy walk away because he thought I was boring. I just turn the conversation around and start asking them what they do for fun.

The more you get them to talk, the fewer questions you have to answer.

Depends on my mood but I usually try to "gauge" the guy and Ill say things that i think he will be into also. Sometimes it works, sometimes it has backfired a little haha. Sometimes I can tell when they want me to be the ditzy girl so i play that up. It really just depends.
I do hate the question though. I also hate it when out on a date with a guy. I dont know why, but it has always annoyed me. And not because I feel im boring or dont have any hobbies or interests, but half the time they arent listening to me anyway!!

Mind Blowing Re: "What do you do for fun?"

I'm very boring now and not too worried about it. I just tell guys things that I've done in the past or things I'd like to try.

As a thrill seeker as opposed to an adrenaline junkie I usually I go on my skydiving spiel and how it's never gonna happen.

This is a good topic to because you get all types of responses. It gives guys the chance to either prove how manly they are for jumping out of a plane or complain how stupid jocks only do it to impress the ladies.

The question I actually hate most is "What do you do when you're not here?"

Sometimes I want to say "My life is very black and white and I'm either sleeping or on a coke binge so how about that dance?"

I actually love this question because I can relate to a lot of men and their interests. I have sort of a unique hustle. I don't act sexy or giggle or anything. I relate to them, then they think I'm cool so they get a dance, then they see the sexy side.

I had a guy last night be like "Whoa. You totally have a switch you flip don't you?" to which I replied "I'm a guy's girl. I can, eat, smoke, drink, swear and watch hockey- but when it matters, I can be the sexiest girlie girl you can ever imagine." They eat it up, and it's totally true.

To the OP, TELL the guys what you're into, especially if it's something you think they can relate to! I always talk about my love of foreign horror, my love of travel and where I have been, my favourite whiskey and my love of food. Of course there are other things I talk about, but being yourself can end up being the smoothest hustle ever. And due to this, I honestly get very few douchebags; maybe one or two a week. Being a fantastic, outgoing conversationalist is going to distract them from engaging in irritating behaviours, in my experience, thus works to your advantage.

I am not modest about the fact that I am an incredibly engaging storyteller.

One of my girlfriends actually convinced a guy that we all live there. It was amazing.

This is a good point because women with depth make douchebags nervous.

I'd rather be absolutely fascinating to a guy who will spend money than try to convince a high maintenance person who thinks he's better than me that he should buy a dance.

That's the douche game even outside of the club. They need the hard sale on EVERYTHING. "Why should I buy a dance from you?" "What makes you so much better?"

While I do hate being asked this question because it's harder to answer, I can't hate someone for asking. They're trying to make conversation so they don't seem disinterested. The fact that they even asked means they want me to keep talking, which gives me a lead into an eventual "let's dance!"

I too am a very boring person. I'm totally the opposite of what I do in the club. I don't go out, I don't drink often. I just sit on my computer playing video games all day :p But that in itself is interesting to the guys I am trying to impress- my whole persona is that of a shy gamer nerd who doesn't quite belong there (my stage name is even from a nerdy Sci Fi channel TV show) as opposed to the usual overly pushy blow-up-doll looking type that the other girls think they have to be.

I can't stand the question either. Even asking what we do in our spare time would make more sense. Who the fuck says we have fun lol.

I usually say when I'm not at work I workout at the gym, go shopping and hang out with my friends. This is totally true. I don't have the energy or the memory to make up bullshit.
