That's what I did!! I didn't know anything about stripping when I started. Just go with the flow. As long as your club isn't super upper tier, you'll be fine!!

My first few lapdances were probably the most boring and terrible thing in the world, but after observing what some of the other girls do (and participating in a double dance, which helped immensely!) I am like a fuckin spider monkey now, going up and down and all around and bam in your face you can't touch this nanananana ...
My favorite position during LDs is when I sit on them like reverse cowgirl style and lay against them and just squiggle my hips around with one leg up on the armrest, and I feel myself up and down and play with his hair and ears. Doesn't take as much effort, it's easy on the knees, and it's reeeaaaallly sexy. Also since you are facing outward you get to watch what other girls are doing and learn from them (this only goes for if your LD rooms aren't sectioned off from the others. Ours is just one big circle of couches and chairs in a curtained area).
As for the new thing, generally I didn't tell anyone I was new unless they asked specifically. Some guys try to exploit the new girls, but I think a lot of them like to be the "cherry popper" so to speak. "Oh you've never danced for anyone before? Awesome, I'd love to be your firstDon't worry you'll do fine!" Also the club regulars tend to be really helpful toward the new girls. Like "a lot of girls will do *this* or *that* and some of them do *this* but I don't really like that so try *this* instead!"

The actual lapdance is not what they are buying. They are buying an experience.
